I hope they start making "already painted and weathered" armor parts next! I doubt and personally hope that model kits never come to the point of defeating the purpose of the model kit by painting them for you... it'd be nothing more than a snap-together action figure then... Back to that Zaku for a moment, it appeared in a hobby show recently. Here's the pics: Looks neat colored. That second photo is of course an image of the cables with those little links pre-connected to it. This will save a big headache for building this kit, but may prove to be bothersome to paint around. Strike Noir is looking good too ga.sbcr.jp/g-toys/miyazawa2/05/index.html

I know, Bro ;D. That's just a wishful thinking from someone who enjoys the actual building of a model kit, but does not really have the necessary skill or time to finish the model completely (paint, etc.) . But the new MG kits are loking better and better out of the box, already!

On a second thought, it would be great if Bandai will release a "kit" that's when assembled becomes an action figure with stronger plastic parts, joints and all (not partially assembled like the DX MSIA line, but wholly unassembled). Better yet if the figure has metal parts, like a Bburago metal car kit I had I few years ago.

Which fix do you mean Bro? THe regular or the metal one? Isn't the next regular fix going to be GP-03 with the prototype Dendrobium?
No news about the next metal fix, yet.

I was talking about the successor of GP 03, but the next metal one is also of interest to me, even if I didn't buy the first one

Taking place from April 21 to August 31, this year's Gundam World event will have on exhibit actual size RX-78 and Char's Zaku heads (4 meters tall), Gundam and Zeta Gundam cockpits, a large-scale diorama recreating a famous scene from the anime, and a 1/144 White Base (1.8 meters long) pictured below-

I love the diorama!! I wonder how many kit builders were involved to build a scene of that proportion!
Thanks for the link, Ed!
