hi everyone. i'm Noel from the Philippines. and i love GUNDAMs! i've started again building Gundam model kits 2 years ago. i stopped building them when we came home from Japan last 1985. we stayed there for 2 years from 1983. and during that time, i was exposed to the old Gundam model kits. esp the MSV (Mobile Suit Variations) lines. this is me & my sister during my birthday last 1984. my japanese classmates gave me Gundam kits. for the last 2 years, there's a lot of hit & misses with kit building. and this year, i'm starting to get the hang of gundam kit modeling. but to tell you guys honestly, when it comes to kit buiding, i don't do puttying, priming, sanding and airbrushing - in which i don't have. i don't have the time to do all that. so what i do is built it. glue the seams as clean as possible. paint some internals. and paint some details and panel lines. some of the Gundam-related toys i collect aside from various scale GunPlas are EMSiA, HCM-Pros, SEED Gashapons, & Trading Figures such as ADAPT & HYPER SEED. hope i can post all my Gundam-related collections here in this thread. again, thanks for letting me join on this wonderful forum site. Yoroshiku Minna! ;D

very nice! great matte finish and superb panel lines.
hi noel, did you already use the 'no paint method' on the Mk2 model?

hey manny. thanks for looking. MKII is part of my "no-paint method" experiment without the sanding. but to be honest, i did paint some of the details and some of the internal frame. i don't like the original color of the internal frame. kinda bluish gray. so i spraypainted it with gray. with the current WIP HGUC Zeta Wave Rider Form, i did sand some of the exposed seam lines. again, i spraypainted the dark blue parts into black. and i spraypainted the red parts with Fire Red. so i guess, it's more of a "mixed method" of "no-paint" and "paint-some" methods. some parts, i retain the original sprue color. i just sand the exposed seam lines. btw, i saw your PG. nice. i like it clean.

Those Adapt look awesome! How tall are they (or what scale)? How much do they cost? And, do they have diecast parts? XD

@bleenthanks, man. i got this ADAPT figures as a set for Php1,800. but the special figure is not included. it's a metallic silver recolored version of RX-78. so it's roughly $37. when i checked action-hq website it's $39.99. figures are 10-12cm tall. the tallest being the Methuss for its missle launcher pod on his back. mannyDthanks bro. glad you liked it. HCM-Pro Char's Counterattack series are great. but there's no panel lines for extra details. but overall, it's great! i think it's made of bandai hard plastic kit. the kind they use on the models kits. but thinner. hope they re-issue this as a HGUC kit. i guess, in due time, they will release it. we just have to wait for thei magic wands. hehehe. i'm now waiting for ADAPT Series 2 if ever they release it. AoZ Mechas!!!

I love the HCM Pro series. I'll pass on the Sazabi and Nu since I already have the DX 12" versions released here in the States a few years back. Waiting for a Gundam Sentinel in HCM Pro form.
