This will likely not be the last re-paint. They're likely going to do the same thing they did with the KS series with at least a couple of more re-paints.

The G3 reminds me of a "black" repaint of a SOC like my repainted Combattler.

That's right. Bandai should've called it GFF 1001b!

Now that I have the Super HCM Pro, I really wish Bandai had incorporated its features into the GFF Metal Composite. The GFF Metal Composite has superior QC compared to my poor Super HCM Pro which is plagued by smudges, smears, and excess glue. High QC and lots of gimmicks and diecast...I'd be sold. As it stands now, each line has its set of pro's and con's. If the QC doesn't improve for the Super HCM Pro line, I may not continue to buy them and may instead support the GFF Metal Composite line.

Is it possible to put top coat or clear coat on these gundams?

I suppose you could if you really wanted to seal off the paint from scratching. It seems that the paint scratches easily. My gundam's paint on the right forearm is scratched from the right hand simply holding the beam rifle.
Hmm.. top coat might not be such a bad idea.

Wouldn't top coat hurt the value of the figure if you resell it in the future?

Probably. But I would prefer that it looked nice.

Well, can't argue with that point.

A die-cast Psycho Gundam in 1/144 scale? Since this bad-boy towers over its M.S. peers, it has to be HEAVY! How tall is this thing?
