Love this guy! here's mine - www.flickr.com/photos/49660795@N05/16688764981/ - Really enjoy the construction and design too. He's somewhere in between a resin model kit, and a completed toy, has a unique vibe about it. Not that interested in Abdra U-6 (maybe if the price was lower?), but I do hope there's others.

Just thought I'd add to this thread, as this figure deserves more attention. The Z color Mazinkaiser is a gorgeous figure. The quality of the chrome/paint finish is second to none, truly high-end level stuff here.
The newly chromed limbs bounce light all over the body - enhancing the sharp design, while also improving the overall aesthetic, something that chrome usually dilutes. The black portions are a deep black that perfectly contrast against the chrome, while the high lustre of the metallic red is stunningly beautiful.
I don't particularly love the Mazinkaiser design, and I don't much care for the SRC line either. But I was sold when I perceived the quality and excellent value of this product, and it definitely hasn't disappointed. Buy one while they are still plentiful and cheap, you'll not regret it.

Lets hope QC issues are kept to a minimum with this one. It'll be a real shame if those beautiful looks are ruined by poor design and/or finish.

Grew up with this show, but not sure if I care for a big gold bird? might be sold depending on the final product. Recently purchased (and totally loving) HLpro's Gin Gin and Giru Giru though, and they look great next to my Evolution Toy KingDan X10, just wish their distribution was better.

Well, I received mine - www.flickr.com/photos/49660795@N05/15463276092/in/photostream/lightbox/ he's truly an arresting figure that really jazzes up the collection. As for any negativity directed at his hips and plentiful handles, he just isn't all that photogenic I guess? Because in person this figure is a masterpiece...and unlike other high-end toys in this category, Fewture...there's zero defects. Can't wait for Aphrodai A!

If the theme was of interest... I'd be all over this! even for that stupid price.

Thanks Josh, That really opened up my eyes regarding the whole debacle between the two of you. Initially, I thought to myself what is the big deal between two long time friends over some "minor" issues. Friendships are hard to come by specially those that lasted for so long. Honestly I enjoyed the show a lot more before, maybe like 3 to 4 months ago. Since then, it has been a drag to watch the show with lack of interest from you guys. (I think it has rubbed off on you as well, Josh) Hopefully with everything behind you, we will start to see a better more interesting show in the future. Yes, agreed.

I hope Josh was nice about it... Adam had been there a long time, and had given much of his time and effort to CDX. And while the CDX website is a great resource, Atom nor Josh have ever really been all that interesting to watch or listen to anyway.

Why? the handles are perfect and there for good reason. They are there so as to be used by fellow giant robots if the need arises. Ever consider how difficult it would be for one giant robot to grasp and hold onto another giant robot. All those hard and slippery metal surfaces would be impossible to hold onto, c'mon guys - use your imaginations. That is precisely my point.I would attach hooks to them handles, and have him drawn and quartered by monster-trucks! If I were to engage in combat with That mazinger there, my first impulse would be to grab him by those handles and body-slam him head-first into on-coming traffic at rush-hour... I would hook him by those handles and suspend him in mid-air while Aphrodai pegs him! I'd hang his feet up in them shoulder handles, and Aphrodai can peg him Real good! I would flip him into the air like a pancake, the way Shin Maz did to Energer-Z! There. Is that enough imagination for you? <snap! snap!> zozo-mag Not what I was looking for... but you get a medal nonetheless.

Well, don't stop editing that pic! There are some key items that need to be edited outta there.... Can someone PLEEZ photoshop this Maz WITHOUT those friggin handles, dangit!!! zozo-mag Why? the handles are perfect and there for good reason. They are there so as to be used by fellow giant robots if the need arises. Ever consider how difficult it would be for one giant robot to grasp and hold onto another giant robot. All those hard and slippery metal surfaces would be impossible to hold onto, c'mon guys - use your imaginations.

Wow! instantly looks like every other rendition of Mazinger Z already out there... thankfully, artistic flair prevailed.
Can't wait to see threezero's Aphrodite A, I just hope there's some hot pink in the deco.

Modern toy engineering that allows for fantastic articulation aside... I'd go the SOC. The SOC is a more substantial robot toy, that just feels right - something the Sentinel Getter doesn't do for me. But hey, that's me.

If this thread is anything to go by... it's only a handful of people that don't appreciate it's unconventional design, and therefore feel the need to keep bagging it... over, and over again. If you're not interested, just move on. It's almost as though they are trying to convince themselves they don't like it...
