Ehhhh but it’s a Transformer... a movie Transformer that doesn’t transform. 😛 I can barely watch transformers movies.
I got rid of all my Transformers too many of them especially with KOs and third parties flooding the market. I don’t have one transformer in my collection and never will. Even though I grew up watching the cartoon. No thanks for me.
I’ll have to wait until I get couple late 2020 orders before I can add something. I personally like KA Gaiking so much I sold off my SoC one don’t need it anymore in my collection. Not saying it’s Toy of year but it is nice piece.

I appreciate the honest review mpchi. Height and size difference with SoC is astonishing. Prior to release some of us were saying this probably $400-500 piece as well. True with Covid-19 that lack of shipping options makes this even more expensive. Yes, engineering in regards with articulation is very impressive as well. If second batch comes through I’ll still snag one. Robotoybase still have some for $489, looks like. Wish I went with them to get the lower local HK price, instead of going with Hobby Search. While Hobby Search is great, their high DHL shipping and their general higher import pricing ($550 & up) in Japan for POSE+ items really brought this to $700 shipped, when normally it would be $600 or less. Even cheaper if no COVID and we can just EMS this for $50-60. Most collectors would see more value in a DX Voltes V with this price, with the Bandai quality, electronic gimmicks, loads of accessories, and fancy display stand...etc. Though I am a fan of Baikanfu, as well as a fan of POSE+, doing what they can to make high quality obscure gokin that can go toe to toe with Bandai (though they can be better with the box art and booklet ). Its like I know I am getting less with my money, but I want to show the support, especially when the product is top notch. Yeah actually robotoybase is sold out. I emailed Tony last week and he said they will be getting a new batch soon. I buy my Pose+ from them as well. I also like Pose+ and any Bandai competitor that makes obscure Gokin too. I’m so psyched Pose+ is making Baldios!! Might have to buy two of those. I’m so sick of Bandai -R they be putting out lately. So I also support any company willing to take risks.

Very cool photos, Blink. Does trying complex poses with this seem intimidating? Thanks for comparison photos blink! What are your honest impressions or opinions on the Baikanfu? That’s great guys thanks for responses and photos. I have the other Pose+ releases and love what they are doing too. There suppose to be second batch next year that I’ll snag one hopefully.Just too many big purchases for me this end of the year. So this didn’t make my budget cut for 2020. 😛But I’m fool for chogokin with articulated fingers! Picking and choosing is so difficult with this hobby. True that especially with the prices these days. These chogokin are like an monthly expensive car payment! 😂 I have 4 cars(my other hobby) so I had to pay for their registrations renewal and insurance all around December so Baikanfu had to take backseat. 😛

Yeah I was just doing some rearranging my collection and notice the leg just falls off easily when I lifted it up. 😛

Yeah Amazon and AJ some of us stayed away from because of lack of care for their product especially toy collectibles. They were one of last sites to sell out because we dont trust them with their packing. Some of us discussed this July in this thread on how Amazon just slaps a label on shipper box or actual retail box and that’s it. If it’s figure you going to open anyways like some plastic Marvel Legends I buy from Amazon. Or if it’s some dirt cheap price for chogokin and don’t care about package. Otherwise i personally stick with Toy collectible sites that take care of your items. DX Voltes V is too expensive to trust some kid worker that doesn’t give a crap about your item just want to get it out as fast as possible.

Yeah I ordered my other Voltes V on eKnight too but I don’t mind waiting. I spent way too much money on updating my cars past couple of months so I need a break. 😛 I’ve seen so many DX Voltes V photos from other collectors on Social media it’s almost numbing.

Sounds good to me. I won’t have to pay until next year. Sucks if you pay and it’s just sitting there for weeks. Had that happen to me with another Japan website.

All these photos and videos got me all hyped up. While I wait for payment invoice I better make room for this beast. I ordered two! I ordered one from Japan and one from USA vendor.
Also diecast content is almost same as GX-31 per another collector.
Looks to have slightly better improvements in articulation than Combattler V too.

Still salivating at this but I decided to buy coilovers for one of my cars instead. 😂 Too many bills at end of year too. If it’s available after month or two I’ll buy this Baikanfu. Like others have said I have couple Baikanfu not sure I need 3rd one.

I doubt thats diecast content also. I have DX Combattler and has diecast in the legs and is one of heaviest SoC or the heaviest. If DX Voltes only diecast in upper torso chest then it will be top heavy. Looks like lower legs is diecast.
