Man that sucks. Didn’t know buying new MB was like buying SD Comic-Con tickets.

He just told me hopefully get them in May or June. I couldn’t wait anymore so I asked for my refund. I didn’t want to let it drag too long and I can use the money on something else. I have Dark version that I’m good with for now.

Yeah that looks like ab crunch joint. Looking forward to you guys feedback on this. I skipped on this one even though I have the other D.C. robots. I was on the fence with this and all the D.C. just legs so thin on them. Like toothpick legs especially on Mazinger Z.

I am showing a summer 20% off coupon on $25+ purchases with a max discount of $50 on my eBay app but it looks like one of the specific category/specific seller ones. How do you tell which ones will work on anything and have no value cap? Usually it has some aterisk or small fine detail. The first one or two promotions during spring were good ones. I think maximum discount was up $100. I think I got $85 off one time.

Looking back I should have cancelled my preorder with AmiAmi for my SoC Megazord and gotten Voltron instead. The Megazord was going to be sold for less on Amazon anyways last year and I am really kicking myself over the lapse in judgement. Don't let that regret bother you man. I seen you post this few times already. If you get KoB Icarus Voltron that should hold you down until Bandai reissues it. Crazy this SoC Voltron is actually selling $700-$850 or more...really? I thought Hulkbuster for $900 was bad but that thing is massive. SoC Voltron is great but man the chrome on Lions legs are the worst for fingerprints. If Bandai makes the lions again, hope they get rid of chrome and make all extremities of Lions all Silver. I bought that overpriced Megazord because of fear of it going up too. Then of course I see it for like $170 on Amazon and its always on ebay for way less than retail. I just let it go and move on to the next decision. I'm more selective now on my decisions. Buying some of these random robots that I have zero connection to and then end up selling it. That was rookie or newbie learning lesson on my part.

Well designed, Bandai! This Strike is even better than Freedom, IMO. LOL Very tempted to purchase this one. Man, its tough choice, either this or God Sigma. Get the Strike, God Sigma is just reissue so it will be readily available. Most people have it and there’s nothing big about getting 2nd one with very minor changes

N-Y looks cheaper up front but the cheapest shipping option is 7300yen Yeah I had it my cart and EMS shipping to SoCal was $80. 😜 that ended up being same price as BBTS price and it’s $429 there.

Like I said, I understand the fan interest in a nice Gravion. And this one looks very very nice. It just looks and feels about 25% overpriced to me. Sen-Ti-Neal really seems to be pushing the price envelope lately. Without really doing so with the features offered. They are trying to position themselves as the upper tier exclusive luxury product. Which unquestionably much of their stuff can be considered. I just think this one is pushing the envelope a bit too far in pricing. $300-320 would have been reasonable. $350 if they really wanted to push the threshold a bit. $410+? That jumps 2 consumer price plateau’s. The one at $350 and the one at $399. It just feels like too much to me. Even for a rarity niche item. Yeah prices are going up whether we like it or not. When you stop think what else you can buy with this money for your home it Gets kind eye opening. Like I really don’t need this. Too bad more companies don’t offer payments plans like Sideshow Hot Toys. If this was couple inches taller I have no problem buying it for what the sales price.

I can't remember if the original came with the weapons rack? I almost never assemble those so I have no memory of it. I’m looking at my box now and it did come with one just looks little different.

Yeah I just had feeling around $400. List price 46224 yen. Diecast is last part of material content. Hope that doesn’t mean very little. 😜 It’s not as tall as I thought it would be either.

Yeah don’t get me wrong it was heaviest SoC until Voltron and Combattler V came around. I got mine from another collector for $200 shipped last year. It’s good piece but yeah flaw is bad but I live with it. Some people had issues with shoulders. The shoulders are also a huge problem I have heard of. The God Amongst GMs need a Renewal. Yep glad I have it. That anime was just damn good especially the movie. Holy crap. Haha sorry we off topic now.

I don’t know why you think this Voltron was a limited release to start with. Huge misconceptions there. This wasn’t a limited production piece. This wasn’t a street fight on preorder or a day one sell out. This releases was not a like a p-Bandai exclusive where it was hard to order one. It was the total opposite as I saw pretty much every USA e-retailer carrying it and having it available. The was no shortages on preorder. In fact, the product was widely available for months after the release date. People had a couple of months to grab one after it was released. Because of this, Some collectors took the opportunity to buy a couple more because they knew how good this thing was and wanted to have more than one. Others took the opportunity to make money on the collectors that just procrastinated and was looking for a deal, wishing the price of this to fall. Bottom line, most everyone I know that wanted one has one. I don’t feel sorry for collectors that has been following this release from the start or knew about the release of this and missed out on getting one. Some complained about not being able to get it at the retail price due to import fees. So they missed out. Even if $300-$400 was too much, if you are seriously want one, you don’t commit to anything and you buy this. You buy at least one on credit, finance it however way you need to. Otherwise SoC Voltron isn’t a must have for your collection. For those that are this late to party, noob collectors or casual fans, you pay the price for not knowing. That’s how the world works. Early bird catches the worm was taught really early in life. Man totally agree here with you on this. Voltron was on bbts for few months and price crept like $345-$350 retail. I had casual friends sit on this and then they end up missing train ride. I even told them to get it but they procrastinated and then became SoL. I knew guys that sold theirs just to make some profit and regret it. I was relatively new collector Nov.2016 and I had to swallow secondary market prices for all SoCs but I took it because I wanted them. I got all SoCs I wanted within half a year. It was crazy but I love the hunt, gotta learn how to hustle and move on an opportunity if it pops up. I just knew how to get things without paying too much on the secondary market. Heck I even got DX Mazinger Z without paying $800-1200 or whatever asking prices these days. These are high end collectibles. If you don’t have the extra money after mortgage, travels, retirement, bills etc then you probably shouldn’t be collecting these.

Yeah that mid hip section part needs to be fixed where he takes unexpected heavy nose dive. I have to put mine on bottom corner shelf Damn. To think I would have payed $300+ for Ideon. Better wait on a Renewal as the more I hear the more flawed the piece is. Yeah don’t get me wrong it was heaviest SoC until Voltron and Combattler V came around. I got mine from another collector for $200 shipped last year. It’s good piece but yeah flaw is bad but I live with it. Some people had issues with shoulders.

Yeah. I think I would much rather have a Renewal of a much older and rarer SoC such as Ideon or the like. Like with Ideon the ratchets could be updated into diecast ratchets or have the treads be made with better material or be plastic. Maybe even lower the diecast content a bit to have better weight distribution I don't know. Yeah that mid hip section part needs to be fixed where he takes unexpected heavy nose dive. I have to put mine on bottom corner shelf

Really lazy release if thats all Bandai did on this R.... Im sure Bandai is crapping bricks "having to" position this lazy ass release ( i also dont see this selling too well) over re-releasing Voltron ( which will sell very briskly)... Yeah totally lazy. I’m going to use this $300 shipped money to go buy my storage shed at Costco right now. 😂

Yeah add slight adjustment to inflation prices and don’t forget rising cost of shipping. The Baikanfu-R was not worth buying at all. I can’t even resale mine at least close to what I paid for.
If hip and leg and articulation is improved I would buy this again. But just couple paint modifications and changing of belt won’t get me to buy this.
I notice for majority of these SoC especially -R if you wait until the hype and rush is gone you can get them even cheaper. I didn’t even want Gipsy in beginning but seeing them $200 shipped on eBay got me to buy it.

I’m willing to give this company a try since I’ve been passing on all previous Jeeg. Find myself more interested in other companies than Bandai.
