Just got my Mazinger-Z today. I'm having the same problem as others, with rather loose forearms at the magnet joints. Does anyone have a solution for this?

It'll probably be the same size as the regular GX-45

So, in the end it is TWO God Scrander Mazingers, one is SOC and the other is a model kit?, nice, because if the SOC is way too expensive at least i will get the modelkit

If the model kit is the same scale, I think talented modelers can modify it to fit the regular GX-45, for those that already purchased it. I just remembered that the regular one can't retract its head Bummer...

Why? Everybody knew this was coming, people had a choice to buy GX-45 or not plus these are two totally different figures based on the same character. Besides GX-45 was like $60 and this one will be under a $100 bucks which for this hobby is pretty cheap. If it was $150-200 then I could understand the complaining, like I said buy or don't buy it's your choice but Bandai isn't forcing anyone to buy it and if you did and feel cheated, well you should bend over and kick yourself in the ass because everybody KNEW this was coming.

Look I can understand some collectors are feeling burned but I think because of the current economic crisis we're gonna be seeing more stuff like this. Where large sets will be broken up so buyers can pick and choose what they want or not have to spend so much at one time.

I hope not, for me the black and gold version are like a waste of time and money in my opinion

i think that when you are a Mazinger Z collector, not enough mazingers will be ever made to satisfy your collecting needs, I always collected transformers, but in a matter of 3 months i turned to Mazinger and in that time I already have GX-01,GX-01R, Gx-02, GX-45 aoshima shin seiki gokin mazinkaizer and black overseas version, one more mazinger to add to the collection would not hurt specially if it turns into "BIG BANG PUUUUUNCH", but yes bandai stinks because they get my hard earned money with the same modified figure everytime...

Chen you make a good point, maybe Bandai is trying to release more small sets for under $100, instead of giant sets for $250. Look at the Macross Frontier VF-25s, they sold the first two without fast packs, then sold the fast packs as add-ons. The next ones came with fast packs but had other accessories sold as a separate kit. They could have put everything in 1 box and charged like $250 but instead they make 2 pieces per figure for $125 or so each.

this is kind of like what happened with the Raideen version. With the optional parts white bicep and calves + mountain vs metallic bicep and calves I guess that was their test case scenario.
