Thanks, Sketch, that's a Hyper Hero Original KAmen Rider by Ohtsuka Kikaku. It is a 1/10 scale figure. A bit smaller than the RAH 220. I recently got their newer stuff with a diecast body! LOL how's that for diecast content.

Great photos.
I know I've seen those Hyper Hero figures somewhere before, very nice.

I took these while "learning" my new 100mm Canon Macro lens, I don't know if you can tell, but I was playing around with the aperture settings in order to get a feel to the lens's focal length and field of view.
The "raw" pics where created using a sort of light tent using constant lighting. I used a Canon 20D using a 100mm USM Macro prime lens. All pictures were shot at 8.3 MP using fine jpeg settings. Then converted using Adobe Image Ready for the net.
The finished photos, Sasword and Garo we processed in photoshop, but only to add the special effects, everything else is straight camera. These photos have also been through Adobe Imageready for use on the net.

Hehe! Love the peeking Arks below. Jumborg Ace and Mirrorman are on my list of "soon to gets". I see you have found the same risers I am using from Ikea. Those fit the best in the Detolf.

Nice Hakaider, It looked like a Medi 220 or something...wow that is not bad at all for a vinyl. Do you have matching Kikaida? Also, Gort is that King Joe at four O'clock position in that pic?

haven't got the matching Kikaida yet. Every time I drop into Supa7, they are out. There are several more in this style of super-real, posed figures. They are all in the reasonable range of 10-15 bucks. I have my eye on the Gorenger set currently, and those are just as sweet as this one. Last year, I picked up Skyzel, Granzel and Ninja Arashi. I'll post those when my camera battery is charged. Gotta wait til the weekend. I am putting in a lot of OT at work right now, so I'm getting home late every night. Bandai has been cranking these out by the hundreds lately. If you want to pick up a quick toy fix for cheap, you can't beat their vinyls, especially if you like toku.

Sketcher, do these super-real vinyls have any articulation? Hakaider looks cool and now I think about it I've seen a nice looking Ninja Arashi somewhere that looks like it could be from this range. Also, Gort is that King Joe at four O'clock position in that pic? Yep, that's my Ark King Joe and Gomora trying to sneak into shot ;D

The Arashi is basically the same "type" of figure. They do have limited articulation, such as the waist and arms, but they look funny when you tweak them too much as the limbs are meant to match the pose. I was trying to find some pics of these guys on the web, but that is harder than I thought it would be. I did find a really cool looking Henshin version of him that I am now contemplating. Doh!

Look what I found! Forgot these dudes were on the shelf when I updated last time. I'll take some better pics when I have a chance. Btw, since these are so hard to find now, do you want me to check at Super7 next time I am there to see if they have any more? I would be happy to pick it up and ship it to you.

Just got back from lunch. It's raining, so we decided some Ramen was in order. We went to our favorite spot in Japan Town, then tripped over to Super 7, where I fell in love. Check out the obnoxious orange Godzilla! It was so bright, I had to have it. I had been planning on getting the MechaG for a while, so I went ahead and grabbed them both. These guys step in at about 14" tall. Enjoy! Updated these pics 02-25-07

Sapporo-YA Ramen house in Japan Town. It is ok over there, haven't really found "good" Ramen here, yet. Yuki from KMH says there's a spot in SJ, but that's a bit far for me.
Dylan, you are in the Presidio, right? I'm at the Financial District by China Town, no Ramen around here.
