ANKOKU UPDATE #3
Nearly all of the molds are done. Since the last update, the chest/pelvis mold has been completed, along with the second arm mold. I am now able to cast a full body with two arms, two legs and a head. I have begun to do so. Casting is a much quicker process than molding. Still, I can’t help but wish it would go quicker. The process begins with me estimating how many ounces of plastic it will take to coat the inside of a particular mold. I place an empty plastic cup on a scale and pour in “Part A†until it reaches half of my weight estimate. I then pour in the second half of “Part B.†I rigorously mix the plastic together for a few minutes and then pour it into the mold. I turn the mold around by hand until the plastic gets hard. I do two coats for each part to make sure that it’s thick enough. It’s an involved process to say the least. On a good day, I can make about ten pours.

I still have to make the mold for the shoulderpads and the one for the sword. The good thing about those pieces though is that I will cast them solid and don’t have to go through the tedium of slush casting.
As I mentioned above, I have begun casting, but will only start the process for people who have sent the $200 down payment.
I can accept bidpay and paypal. If you wish to pay by paypal, please add $8 to cover their fees.
