Love that damn Kong; too bad it's so scarce/expensive.

What an amazing thing to see! Over twenty five years ago I bought up a bunch of Arkron loose parts from Kunimatsuya toy store in La Habra, Ca. I thought they might come in handy some day. Who could have imagined that I would one day see pictures of a couple of those spare parts sent into my home by computer from England. Synchronicty meets technology in the Robot Age. Very cool indeed. JWM

I would love to see the cabinet full of toys in the background...

Things in the background are SO much more interesting than those in the fore.... In this case, there's a reflection of a cabinet that holds an early Shonen Cyborg, a Biotron, Dairugger XV, Great Robot Base, Daibaron, Dai X, and a whole bunch of Diaclones..... As another odd update here - in my quest for Ark completeness, I just got a funny ( ) piece... This one's a Japanese boxed King Joe. The box is entirely in Japanese. The figure, however, has the red plastic legs of the US version. The styro (and of course the box therefore) is the same size as the regular US version, and not the smaller Japanese version. All of which is relatively unremarkable, it's probably just a series 2 Japanese Joe, but - it was sold at Marukai (as per sticker), and its included instruction sheet/poster is in German.... Once I get the rest of Baltan (I only have his head and body at present), I swear I'll shut up about these guys...but not before I take & post a final complete line up shot!

Speaking of Baltan- Does anyone know the story behind this guy? I know he was a character on some TV show, and that he was played by a guy in a costume. (not animated) Other than that I've never seen or heard anything. JWM
