After seeing so many Chogokin knock-offs and bootlegs posted throughout RJ; I haaaaave to ask...
Which Chogokin robot figure has been bootlegged and knocked-off the MOST?
My guesses are, either Mazinger-Z or Grendizer.

I'm betting Golion/Voltron. That toy won't die.... I think they still turn up on occassion.
But for Maz and Grandy; they've probably got a greater variety of KO in different sizes and styles.

I could be wrong, but as I understand it, the Taiwanese Lionbot is STILL in production. I can't think of another robot toy, legit or bootleg, that's been rolling off production lines for the last 2 decades.

I would say Golion a.k.a. Voltron a.k.a. Lionbot ..............because I have seen too many versions of it over the years............some of them are nice and some aren't.

That Mazinger worth a gazillion dollars the small one with firing rockets on the chest, that's probably been cloned more than any Louis Vuitton or Dooney and Burke handbag!

I'm voting for Golion/Voltron/Lionbot as well. I still have my old beat-up Lionbot displayed on my shelf, and was shocked when I found out the same bootleg is still being made 20 years later! Might be nice to have a brand new one on my shelf...

Looks like it's total agreement so far.....Golion/Voltron/Lionbot and Mazinga I think would have to be bootlegged the most.
Wasn't there a recent bootleg of the original Mazinga that's worth some good money now?

I bet Mazinga when you think about how many bootleg vinyls are out there......since 1974 too.
Chogokin wise you have a ton of Taiwanese and Korean bootleg diecast too.

For a character that's not that high profile, Daigenko turns up more frequently than most (or at least his head)

Depends if your are trying to determine the most bootlegged Toy or the most bootlegged Character. If toy, then I think the DX GoLion wins it. If character then it's probably Mazinger.

I'd say Golion, Godmarz, & Guardian...

I was trying to determine Both, the toy And the character. This curiosity had struck me lately, as I contemplate the little gokin KO "Grendies" in my collection. This also leads me to be curious if any Bandai SOCs had ever been KOed or bootlegged as well. zozo-Magengar Depends if your are trying to determine the most bootlegged Toy or the most bootlegged Character. DX GOLION/VOLTRON III all the way! The most popular bootleg toys of ALL TIME. U cant imaging how many different versions BOOTLEG are out there on the market. It seems like every country on the planet has its own bootleg version of this toy. haha
