Just found these while skimming HLJs future releases. www.hlj.com/product/KBYKP-45www.hlj.com/product/KBYKP-48www.hlj.com/product/KBYKP-62What I'm really wondering is whether Altalion will have perfect transformation, or if it will be something like Wildraubtier which had parts you took off and then put back on somewhere else to accomplish the transformation, so not exactly a parts former, but you couldn't keep everything connected and still make it transform. Judging from the Dengeki Ltd. figure it would be so easy to make Altalion a perfect transformation. Looking at the pics, the only part that looks like it might be removed is the crotch piece which forms the tail piece.

Looking at the pics, the only part that looks like it might be removed is the crotch piece which forms the tail piece. Very excited about the new SRWOG releases. I was also wondering about the Altalion. I know it seems like certain 1/144 scale kits seem to be engineered so that you need to remove parts to transform them. Not trying to "thread-jack", but did you know about the non-scale Aubenseitser and 1/100 R-1 making their debut!? www.kotobukiya.co.jp/item/page/pk_srw_ausenseiter/index.shtmlwww.kotobukiya.co.jp/kotobukiya/release/20080414/100r1.htmlKoto just keeps cranking them out! I'm waiting for the possibility of a 1/100 set for a fully transformable, combining SRX mecha.

I didn't know about the Aubenseiter. Very cool. I'm glad Kotobukiya keeps moving the SRW model series forward. If the popularity of these models keeps going the way it is, eventually there will be an affordable/quality series of figures, or even gokin. I have quite a few of the Volks/Dengeki figures, but I'm done buying them. No matter how much I might love the designs, I'm tired of paying $100 per figure. I think the Kotobukiya models are truly excellent models, but I don't have the time to put them together anymore. I've still never completely finished my Wildraubtier, and I've got two Armored Core models still sitting in their boxes from Christmas, but I really appreciate that Kotobukiya has done such a great job with the SRW model line. It seems like I read somewhere that Granzon was coming up here shortly also?
