Hey Guys, first post here. Recently I was cleaning out my room at my parents house and found these babies. I loved these toys as my dad would take trips to nyc and bring back some of these as gifts. I didn't even know they were still there until now. Sadly, I will be selling these because times aren't so easy these days but I wish I could hold on to them. Could anyone help me identify the proper full names and year manufactured of the Batrain and the Dynainbox? I really don't know anything about them. I think the years of the Voltes V and Tetsujin 28 are 1982? Is that right? I have a box of parts to sort thru as I know I have some stuff that goes with the Voltes. These are unreal in every way. My favorite that I still have to find is the Guardian. That one I cherished as a child because of the tiny plastic human inside all of the three robots! Here are some pics:

Thanks for the info about the Dyna. Yeah I figure they should go to a good home, although I would like to give them my son/daughter that is like 10 years away and I'd rather put it towards a college fund. But like I said, if and when I find my Guardian. He stays put

That Tetsujin-28 is just lovely. Now that's a treasure!

That top one is typically referred to as Dynaman. You've got the Japanses version, which sells for more than the American release. Do you have the outer box?
The next one is from Sasuraiger, made by Takatoku.
The last two you already know. Great items.
Too bad you can't hold on to all of these.

Thanks for praise, I was so happy to see these "toys" again. I think I knew these were special because all my other toys were given away years ago.
I do have all the boxes for these. I think I'm missing the rear red tail to the Voltes V and the part of the sword, but I still have some places to look. I put the Tetsujin up on ebay and it seems to have already gained some interest.
Thanks again.

Do you have a link to the Tetsujin auction? I can't find it for some reason.

First don't sell the thing to anyone emailing u. Let the auction play out, you're gonna make a killing on that thing. You can also pre-block bidders based on certain criteria, such as location. If you only want to ship to the US and Canada, you can block bidders from all other countries. Also, you can block bidders that look suspicious to you at anytime and cancel their bids.
Those 2 Dyna Robos are the same toy, just different boxes. The Godaikin one is the US release and yours is the original Japanese. The Japanese boxes are more valuable. Yours also has the tray to hold the missiles which adds even more value. That other one didn't. You can probably expect ~$350 for it. That Voltes u have is worth upwards of $700, especially if you have the whole box and at least most of the accessories and missiles.
Lord, I wish I had the dough to buy that Tesujin! Maybe I'll win the lottery before the auction's over. Good luck dude. I'll be watching the auction and getting more and more depressed as it gets even further out of my price range.

thanks for the auction advice guys, I'll let the auction play out. Can I ask why the Tetsujin is so popular? Is it mostly how rare it is?

Very nice robots. I wish you could keep them. Btw the other hatchet, if I'm not mistaken, belongs to Delinger from Gardian. You may want to retain it, when you found your Gardian.

thanks arkboy but I'm afraid I've exhausted my search for Guardian and came up empty handed. I did find all of the parts including sword and shield and hatchet and even the box cover but the robot itself was probably sold in a yard sale in the late 80's (ouch). Some good news however, I did find 3 smaller robots (1 is a Godzilla) all complete in original boxes. And one Hydra box that I belongs to a triple headed dragon. I have to find the this dragon. Let me get some pics up and post them back later.....

my gosh, I wish I could find this stash in the closet at my parents' house! Holy moly!! You sure were lucky as a kid, I couldn't even get my parents to buy me ONE LION of Voltron, let alone blow $75-$100 on a big robot! I was lucky to get a Hornetroid one year for Christmas. Which probably explains my hang-up over the years with collecting giant die cast metal robots...in fact it might explain a lot of people's obsessions. hehe. Anyway, congrats on selling the stuff. Times are a little tight nowadays & it seems like a lot of people are thinning things out. That's to some people's advantage, I guess.
Are you selling the Guardian weaponry? I have a Guardian with no weapons and I bet he would LOVE to get some arms after standing empty-handed for the past 10 years!
