As I mentioned, I am becoming a really big fan of the SOC SPEC series. And I just got my Dragonar today! I actually exchanged my GX-07E Mazinger for this. I have been waiting way too long for that order. Know what... I am glad 'cause I have way too many Mazingers! I don't have enough room for another one in my precious glass case Don't get me wrong Mazinger is my favorite giant robot of all time! Though I now prefer the larger and more complicated SOC's. Overall, I am happy with statuetoy.com's service. They're pretty cool. Give them a chance. Their prices are reasonable and I like the folks over there. Do any of you have Dragonar? Happy with it? I have not opened mine yet. I kinda like keeping my SOC's in their boxes for a while. Oh yeah, I love my Layzner.

I have one. Its die cast content is really low, but It's a lot of fun assembling all the armor onto the skeleton. The way the figure is diplayed in the box is very cool as well.

I like the box design for the specs more than the regular SOC's (though I've grown to like it because of its outstanding content). The marble, lightning bolts and solar flares of the regular SOC boxes are just pure cheese. But the content ain't cheese.

I used to not like Gundam looking robots. Because of Layzner, I am becoming a fan. Dragonar solidified this. Black Serena is next...

Are Gundam looking robots always going to fall under the SPEC line and never under the regular SOC line?
Is it because Gundam's are relatively new and not too old school robot like?
Am I wrong on this? 'Cause if I am... What's the point of having a SPEC and other variation lines of SOC's?
