As everyone says, this needs to be bigger. From the pic it looks about right scale next to OG optimus. Maybe this will look good next to Classics OP.

For Y13,650 Yen = about $120
They should make it at least the same height of MP Optimus Prime in Robot Mode.

Yeah, I would gladly give up those accessories, light up feature, and have the bare minimum of metal for a much larger figure, at least Prime size if not larger. If they can make figures like Unicron and Primus for under a hundred bucks then they can make a MP Prime sized figure for $120+.

VERY disappointed in the size. I cannot believe they are going to make him smaller than the MP OP. That is just f*in stupid. I especially WILL NOT pay that much to get a MP Grimmy that is not even a MP. DAMN YOU TAKARA......GET IT RIGHT!!!

i think the only way i can tolerate a smaller masterpiece grimlock if it means them doing the rest of the dinobots.. it has some considerate diecast...
which would then after the dinobots they would make masterpiece predaking or devastator..

Why does grimlock have a serving tray? Does he come with a butler costume too?

Why doesn't he come with the apron! What a jip! You can't release a grimlock toy without his trademark apron! This figure looks awesome end of.

Haha, I agree, if they're gonna include the serving tray, they should also include the apron! ;D
Yep, the figure looks awesome. Even if it's a tad smaller than I'd like... Still... awesome.

Fortunately, an Apron is easily constructed for him from any white cloth. If I get an MP Grim (which I think I probably shall), an Apron will definitely be on the books.

Not, Hasbro, brother, Takara...I'm sure if there will be a hasbro version, it will be $30-40 less than the Takara, albeit it will be crippled, like the other Takara/Hasbro conversions.
