I don't think the Tamashii Stand can hold the weight of the GX-04 in the Spacer, but I have not tried it myself...

From the pics it appears to me that the bonus head really does it for the proportions. Can't wait to get my hands on mine.

Nice! I think I like the color scheme used on the regular head better. They should have kept the silver on it instead of white, and on the blades too.

but the manga color version comes with the old head, not the new one. BINGO! lots of people out there (included myself) have pre-ordered or will be buying the Metaltech 01+ DX, once we get the bonus head (white) we would (must likely) be purchasing the manga color version, so to have the Grendizer legs and forearms, etc white color to match the head. Honestly... I think that they've got me.

Checked my e-mail this morning and what did I find? "Your pre-order item is ON STOCK..." YEAH! .. proceed to pay.. so on so forth and.. "combine your pre-ordered item with another on stock item and pay no additional shipping charges..." I go SWEEEET! placed the second order this time for the manga anime version Grendizer.... what do I get now... orders do not update automatically (on site from which I ordered), so now someone has to validate the second order and so far additional shipping charges are showing (as currently both orders are "been handled" separately.. bottom line... now I have to wait even more till the order is validated, combined, etc. What a fool I am.

Metaltech01, 2. Metaltech DX and 3. Metaltech01'? Mean and evil move from HL Pro. Oh, and no bonus head in metallic colors? BS!They should have added at least the accessories from Metaltech01 with Metaltech01'.

Remember what HLPro wrote:
" We just do what we want to do...and according to our knowledge of the market we are aiming for. Anyway Fans who wanted a Metaltech grendizer bought already the Metaltech01, we do not need to sell them one more time. The MT02 is about the die cast spacer now...so we moved on already.
If we come again with a grendizer die cast AF we will come with a different one...."

So, going by their own words on tge above paragraph, this release of the manga colored version of Grendizer, but keeping the same head as the original metaltech01 is bullcrap then. I guess money talks and bull$hit walks... doesn't it HL Pro?

Since the Metaltech 1+ doesnt have grabbing hands
how is Grendizer supposed to hold the Double Harken?

Tsk Tsk... how Disappointing. How Flaccid. All the hype in the beginning, along with wonder-struck speculation... ...Now a half-assed production of what could've been a really nice product. zozo-Mag

All of this for a new head mold...IMHO they should have work the entire Grendizer figure to fix those weird joints so that at least it would make it more desirable to get.

I have to agree, as if I didn't never liked the design of those dangling wrists before. You're absolutely Right, those wrists on the Metal-tech Grendizer should be built closer into the forearm. And, he looks kinda lanky at the knees, too.

Since the Metaltech 1+ doesnt have grabbing hands how is Grendizer supposed to hold the Double Harken? Hold on, things are not as bad as they look, if you look carefully the pics on page 26 of this thread you'll notice that it does come with the "perforated" hands for the Double harken. It's the opened like grabbing hands (sourgh off) and the fists hands together with the scrwew crunch and firing efects that Metaltech 01+ is missing.

The spazer looks good, but the figure by itself looks goofy for some reason... something looks terribly off in the proportions and I think it's not something that can be corrected by adding a new head, even if it looks much more like Grendizer than the original shrinked head. Maybe some owner of this set can prove me wrong by posting some pics of the figure with the new head? However, skipping the effect parts and a couple of posed hands is very lame from Highdream.

it must be too expensive for them to have add the extra head, the grabbing hands, etc....

Hmmm, you guys probably won't agree with the following, however: maybe if we look at the positive side, even if you end up buying the Metaltech 01, Metaltech 01+ and Metaltech 01' when you put the $$ together it comes out roughly as much as GX-04. The GX-04 even tough the sculpt is pretty nice, however is not that pose able and I will even go further to say that it looks kind of rigid. So, if falling for HL-Pro little tricks, still you get 3 Grendizer figures which are very pose able, a die-cast spaizer (as opposed to the plastic GX-04). Ok, I don't have a GX-04, but for what I have seen and heard, I think that still the Metaltech offer is not all that bad.

I humbly honestly gotta admit..................
..........if I had the GX-04, I would sooo NOT put a Metal-tch Grendy anywhere far near it. ;D
