Hello folks!
This is my first attempt to make a robot-review.
Well, it's more a foto-review (so i could test my new macro-lens)
Why Marushin Garuban?
Cause he's photogenic and i like him.
For "long-term-heavy-vintage-collectors" Garuban
isn't something special. But if your start collecting vintage stuff this robot is a cool, not so expensive opportunity to get a nice robot.
Robot! sorry, did i say robot? ok, Garuban is a kaiju/monster.
I bought him years ago. He's nearly C10 condition. Don't know how much he's today. If someone knows price-range let me know.
I saw one (in Box) months ago for around 140$ on eBay.
Ok. Lets start.
Marushin Garuban from the Ultra Series.
He's very heavy (nearly as heavy as a Bullmark Gojira), everythings made out of metal. Just his head and fists are plastic. Garuban (the magnetic monster) is a monster from 1967 live action show called Captain Ultra.
Here is the Box. Nice foto-design box. Quality of print/cardboard is like a Popy box.

Front, Back & Side
Lets make a "striptease"
The robot is well packed in a styrofoam-box with cover and comes
with a small catalog (full of crazy vinyl figures etc).
My Garuban came with 4 red missles and 2 plastic buildings. One is the famous Tokyo Tower, often climed & destroyed by all sorts of monsters ;D
Garuban could shot his fists (certainly) and is very movable.
You could disassemble Garuban. His head and legs
are attached with magnets. The whole quality of the figure
is very high.
Now some details.
You could open the chest-plate and load/fire a rocket.
The fire mechanism and toy-markings are on the back.
Here a detail shot of the head. Garuban has "bling-bling-swarovski-stone-eyes". On th other foto you could see magnets etc in legs & body.
Garuban is a very nice toy i think. Together with his tiny plastic buildings you have everything you need to make a little kaiju eiga movie. ;D
Here you could see the size of Garuban, compared to a
Bullmark Godzilla. They make a good team. Lets destroy Tokyo!!

That was my "review", hope you like it.
