Thanks potatobbq!
I just checked out the site you recommended. I can use it next time! Although currently the cheapest gurren lagaan on japan yahoo auction is 19,000YEN, much more expensive than what you got yours for. If nobody else bids on the item, I could have saved ~$30. Haha at least I can feel better by telling myself that I paid for extra $30 for time saved with the much simpler procedure from ebay.
one quick question, so do you have to pay for shipping for both domestic shipping (from seller to tokyo buyer) and international shipping (from tokyo buyer to me)?
next time though I'll include that as part of my shopping tools! Thanks man.

locidm,
Yeah, you have to keep an eye out for whatever it is you're looking for. I think it took me a month of checking Yahoo! Japan before I found that one for 11,000 yen.
Unfortunately, you do generally have to pay for domestic shipping also but usually it's fairly cheap. For most items, i would say between $5-$10 for domestic shipping. When you factor in all the fees and shipping, a lot of times it's not worth it so you either have to get a really good deal or there's just something that you want that you can't get anywhere else. Spending $30 more on eBay is fine, I prefer to just use eBay too if I can to avoid the hassles, but there are definitely times when you can get really good deals on Yahoo! Japan.
