So if they had ended up selling Big-O under Toynami would it still have fallen under the same SOC banner? Or would it have sold as MPC Big O by Toynami like Voltron? I guess Bandai was cutting their losses when the licensing issue with Toynami came to light? Whatever, their reasoning is behind this annoyance, they made a figure that should have been priced on par with Daimos, V5, Zambot etc. (which is around $150-$180 possibly cheaper as it's a non-combiner) cost $247 before shipping. And almost half of that cost belongs to the accessories¡K They made the figure offering cheaper at the cost of making the entire package quite costly. Well I¡'ve decided bite the bullet. Got this sucker in its entirely. As per AE Big O = $136.25 Big O Accessories = $118.27 Shipping = $55.59 Final price tag whooping total of $310.11CDN ***I could've bought the SPEC Tekkaman or GX-51 instead of that accessory*** I just hope that Bandai doesn't turn around and burn me by re-issuing Big O with the accessory set for much less in the future. In fact, I hope they never re-issue Big O again to give everyone who purchased it some "exclusivity" value for their buck. I would like to at least get my $254.52 back in case life gets in the way and I'm forced to sell it someday. I know they say the accessory set is limited, but we all know there's a ton of ways to get around that such as making the pink blast effects yellow or coloring Roger's car colored gun metal rather than black etc. Anyhoo, I'll stop whining now and I'm just going to enjoy it when I get it hoping that the bandai exec who thought of this jump off a cliff

I haven't been in this hobby long enough to experience that described below... But I agree with you on those issues. I just don't get why manufacturers release an item in a certain way, and then post-release accessories as some supposedly special exclusivity package to any one certain market demographic Now, and then offering it to another demographic, higher priced, later on... ...BAH, this just smells like fans all across the board are gettin shafted in some way.... ...Like buyin a Big Mac, but ya gotta also buy the pickles lettuce tomatoes and onions, And the styrofoam packaging, to make it ----- Complete---------------. ...at That total cost for this Big-O SOC item, (including buying the Accessories asideand also paying shipping) I could have just bought two SOCs that aren't as loaded with so many accesories. Sometimes Bandai really kicks azz. But also, sometimes, they really pull some ridiculous ideas out of their azz. zozo-Magengar So if they had ended up selling Big-O under Toynami would it still have fallen under the same SOC banner? Also the high price for the accessory set is because it's limited, if Big-O would have been sold in North America and I'm assuming with the accessory set included the price would have been much cheaper because of the higher volume sold. I'm guessing, but if sold in mass quantities I think the whole set would have probably sold around the $200 U.S range.

Got my Accesories pack today. The bits and pieces look awesome, but was surprised how small the package was. Considering their price, I was kind of expecting something bigger. Oh well...

As someone who already has a closet close to overflowing with boxes, I was rather relieved by the compact packaging. Frankly I wish more products cut down on excessive packaging.

Woohoo!! Got my parts-pack shipping notice from ImageAnime. December's almost over & I was getting nervous for a minute there.... Time to price-shop for Big-O. Got my Accesories pack today. CM's is probably the worst when it comes to that. I really like the robots I've gotten so far from them but all the parts are spread too far out in their own receptacles when they could be partially assembled to save space. A 7" figure becomes a styrofoam cinderblock the size of a PC tower.

Sorry wasn't too clear on that one. Well I was expecting something bigger in the way of contents not as much as box size. Obviously you'd say I knew what was inside well before ordering, but still...

I got my Big O parts set yesterday and while I do like the look of the circular missiles the tiny hand that goes on the figure was a bit of a problem for me. I put the hand on the wrong way and when I tried to take it out the hand twisted off of its base. Now I will have to find some way to reattach the hand back to its base.

Someday after I settle down from relocating, I'll have to model a 3D rendition of Big-O using these pics as reference. Nic pics, guys! zozo-Magengar
