That is freaking awesome brother!!!!!
I love the rocket punch! And it comes right back to the arms too just like the show.
I also love Shin Mazinger's reaction to the punches in the stomach by Energy Z while Shin Mazinger is down.
Awesome! Did you make it? How did you picture the rocket punch?

Cool video! I am still waiting for BBTS to get the SOC Energer Z and fulfill my pre-order... ... this waiting sucks! }\ I know, that is why I ordered mine (GX-45 and GX-47) from taiwan providers through ebay, it is faster and in the end you will save only 10 - 20 dollars if you wait for BBTS to have them in stock. On the rocket punch effect, the technique is achieved by using a small piece of fishing line, i inserted this in the wrist articulation so I could hold the arm in the air far from its socket in various positions, the results are very good. Thanks you all for watching the video!

Lejam: I can't afford the 01rb, yes saw on your collection you have one. Congratulations for owning 1 of the SOC holy grail! ... mmmmh... No I do not... I got all versions but only this one is missing... I try to get one this week... Mandarake fu**ed this up... 2 versions for me : - They actually not have it in stock while it was on window in their webshop... or when they discover I ordered it this week for 75000 yens price... maybe they canceled the sale "Oh sorry, not in stock" after knowing the real price... But I will customize one of my GX-01 into a glossy black. -> it's cheaper (and better for my money). ----> Nice Stop motion !

Ooops sorry my bad. Actually it's Teknoman's collection I browse before that I saw 01rb. Funny you mentioned this coz I suspect this is the reason why 1 kleptomaniac stole the scranders tail fin of my 01B & 01RG display name plate. I re-checked Gold's review on 01RB & you need to custom paint the scrander's tail fin and use 01RG display (the text in Gold). The klepto I talking about can customize

he he.. I will not try to reproduce the all set with display stand... just the figure. I will try to get a wholesale GX-01R factory Box threw Bandaï (I don't know how much pieces are in it). Then I will produce Mazingers with special colors... grey camo, fully chromed... (I got some swarovski too ^__^ )... About chrome... I have to try Tamiya... before asking a friend : he can do some chrome-plating but it's very expensive for few units.

I love that video animation, it's awesome how you animated the rocketpunch. I also like how you animated Energer to pick of Maz and throw him in the air like that. ;D
That's the coolest thing I like about SOCs, they can take a beating from the camera-man, or from their own kind! ;D

So this Energer Z is red simply to reflect the scene in the anime where was overheated prior to being defeated by Mazinger Z? If this is the case, I think Bandai will release the regular colour version GX-47R (I know the was the limited version already released before). Better wait...

Bandai... you suck!!! Is it too much work to keep things at least more or less to scale???!!! I could understand something like this happening with the vintage robots of the 70's and 80's, since they were meant to be played with. But come on, its 2009! This is a collectors' toy and not very cheap... a little more attention to detail (and keeping with the series you put out yourselves) can go a long way. You suck! }(

So, I don't understand. Do you want GX-45 to be two feet tall, Energer Z to be 3 inches tall, or do you want the bike to be so microscopic that it breaks/blows away in a light breeze when you try to put it in his head?

The scale was fudged the same way in the anime. Anything else wouldn't look right.

Well, wasn't GX-07 and GX-07E more or less the same scale including Energy Z's bike/ rider to GX-07's Pilder?
So I also concure with themazingerz bandai you DO suck.
At Bandai:
Just because you slap a mazinger label on a figure you think collectors would let you skip on some of the finer details that make an SOC special?.............................oh yeah, that's right they let you get away with it and reward you with buy hoards of it regardless what you do...........so I guess you could carry on then.

I agree, considering that it's just a little plastic figure I don't think they can make it any smaller. Plus it's a Mazinger Z Anime, when did scale ever matter in this series, the robots change sizes from episode to episode.
