It might not even make it to production because the price is so high. Remember CMs Dancouga Nova?

D Nova's original price was much, much higher than Gordian. Gordian's price isn't out of CMs standard pricing realm, so I'm sure it'll be released. Also remember that D Nova is still in the works as CMs just showed new prototype pics of it last month. It may be at a smaller scale, but it's obviously something they are still interested in producing.

(^-- which makes me happy). A Brave Gokin Nova + SOC Dancouga would be a great display coupling.

Well here's the first painted Brave Gokin from the upcoming deluge from CM's. Gordian, I think this is a example when maybe they followed the Anime look to much. A little style ala Baikanfu would have added a ton. 30cm and 25,800 YEN

The accessories kinda remind me of MS Gundam's Gyan.
Quite a shelf hog!

any idea of the metal content for gordian? Don't know the metal content but the shipping weight is listed as 5.6lbs in the big bad toystore pre order.

I have absolutely no qualms about buying things at full retail price if it's something I really like. Yeah, I could have waited a few months for the CMs Calber and gotten it for half the price, but I can't look at this hobby just in terms of how it affects MY wallet. I WANT these companies to keep making stuff, I want them to prosper and make a profit. If nobody bought these toys upon release and just waited for a price drop, these companies would lose their incentive to make the toys at all. We need to scratch their backs if we want them to keep scratching ours. I'm not saying we should always sit back and just be happy with the prices of everything, but unless we know how much those licenses cost, how much production costs are, how much marketing and everything else costs, it doesn't seem fair for us to declare prices to be inflated or unreasonable. Tell me about it. In Transformers-land, it seems fans are just waiting to pick up stuff on clearance and are demanding $10 Leaders and $20 Supreme figures. They're outraged when they have to pay more than $10 for a deluxe. Something's wrong with the hobby and it's the cheapass fanbase.

I wouldn't pay full retail on it. Brave Gokins are almost never worth the initial cost, compared to SOCs.

Still waiting on news of CM's Gaiking the Great. It will take great control to not jump on that one when it's initially released, but it's true - the Brave Gokin series do seem to come down significantly in price after a short while. I have never purcahsed a CM BRave Gokin - aiking will be my firest foray into that line.

YES! YES! (No! NO! Why are you doing this to my wallet CM's? Don't you know I have to make car payments?) Not JUST Akito's mech from Nadesico: Plus you can see how much diecast they're bringing to the table. Not too shabby. I just hope these are ~$100 and not more . I don't mind if they're small, CM's, just don't break my bank. ... oh, and I guess these guys too. Pics from Toysdaily

Man! I don't know about buying CM's right after they are released... I already got burned with their GGGG, Goshogun, Baldios, and Ga-Keen. I paid full retail price, while it seems like almost everyone else got them at a HUGE discount not even two months later (on the later releases). I think I'm going start playing the waiting game from now on as well.
It is going to be REALLY HARD, but I'll do my best not to fall in their "first buyers" trap.
