I've started to see them launching at local stores. But aside from a few smaller vehicle playsets, I'm seeing an awful lot of repaints of previous toys. I don't remember the name but I recognized a mini-tank I had when I was little! Holy smokes that brought back a flood of memories. Not enough to convince me to buy one, however.

The Sienna Miller/Barones looks fugly up close. I only see the Scarlett with her hair pulled back in her grey camouflage, I like the face sculpt of that one better. Been thinking about getting Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. But I'm waiting to see the film before I buy.

I have not a single one. I am still very angry that this movie has removed the "Great AMERICAN Hero" concept. I've nothing against other countries, but what is wrong with GI JOE(GI=GOVERNMENT ISSUE, btw) being the USA task force? Remember how there was a Russian force back in the 1980s, and i created "Her Majesty's Armed Service" for England(using generic figures and etc). And it would be cool to have other countries with their versions join forces occassionally. But, to answer the question: No. BUT if the ALMOST Sigma Six styled figures would have BEEN Sigma Six figures, then the answer would be an emphatic YES...does that make me a hypocrit? But, either way, i've been more absorbed into Video Games since May when i got the PS2.

From what I've seen the toys are going to be the highlight of this movie franchise. As soon as I saw those Robocop suits I knew it was going to be downhill from there, this movie may make Transformers look like the Godfather.

Yeah, I had one as a kid too, it's a neat little tank. Funny thing is, any time Hasbro uses a mold multiple times they'll say it has become used beyond repair (and there are signs of that in some Transformers having really loose joints), but they rarely seem to have this problem with G.I.Joe. This tank has been remolded at least four times, maybe five, and the figures get their parts recycled on a regular basis. I have to wonder how they can preserve those molds, but not Transformers molds. Just seems strange. Emerje

I did not like the movie at all, but the toys look pretty nice. Don't have any yet, but I may pick up Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow at the very least.
So yeah, I agree with what Chen said. The toys are the only good things to come out of the movie, imho.
