Yes, I'm pretty sure Koto's take on Tomy's Zoids don't have the wind-up or electronics features. It's a neat idea, but they also often cost more than their Tomy counterpart and I don't believe they're as finished looking out of the box (require some painting).

hey! I still have this one, only I got mine when I was a kid. It was yellow and gray and it could walk. I know it was Zoids but what series was it a part of?

It should be massive indeed - at 1/72 and with the openning cockpit to prove it (check out those little dudes sitting inside!) that thing has got to be at least a foot tall! I've never collected Zoids (I remember the original line from when I was little) but I never had any of my own... but this beat is COOL!
