As much as I want to like the SOC one more, I think the Aoshima one looks better because of its proportions. I also wonder what the size is going to be, since the new Getter Dragun was so much smaller than the original. So the Aoshima might actually look better beside the original SOC Getters than this one. Time will tell... It is hard to say which one I like better. I like SOC's shoulders and arm. But Aoshima has a better head and body design.

i don like how the prototype's legs are red.....nooo! no DC? I'm hoping the red parts are metal and the grey parts are plastic but that would meen that the feet (grey) are plastic ?? isn't there a pic of a proto gx-45 /47 where red was meant to show off metal parts?

Thats kinda weird. Why would the feet of all things be plastic?

Red does seem to be the new "marker" for diecast content, look at Gx-50 Combattler. I guess the plastic feet are to prevent chipping? Most of the older Go Nagai bots had plastic soles (at least I think they were plastic?)

Perrhaps it's to help distribute ze vweight evenly zroughout ze entire figure when it is shtanding in some kind of pose zat might shift its center of graavity (?) I dunno... But I do find it shtrange zat any figure which haz more diecast in it would shtand on plastic feet... I vould zink zat vould shtrrrress ze plastic in ze feet much more vrom having to support all ze upper-mass vweight. (Damn, I'd better stop lookin at my Einstein poster!) ;D zozo-magengar Thats kinda weird. Why would the feet of all things be plastic?

sooo, there's a gimmick with the getter beam afterall. (images courtesy of gits_sac over at sgcollect). [/img]
Overall it looks excellent! Except that silly little getter beam plastic (gimmick?!) - It would be better if Bandai leave it out, imho.

Shouldn't the beam emitter on the Armageddon version be pink instead of green?
Looks fantastic otherwise. Can't wait to get this beast.

in town in taiwan and just got it. the beam is a little tacky as it just clips onthe body but overall a stout figure based on the tetsujin body base.
