It is a beautiful figure, but it doesn't have the "toughness look" of the Aoshima version. If you want something that spells "we are kicking ass" then you need to pose the GX-01R, GX-02R, and Black Wing Aoshima Mazinkaiser together. As such (image from imitk.blogspot.com/2007/11/sg-10-mazinkaiser-by-aoshima-miracle.html ): If you want something that looks "pretty", then you would use the Max Factory Mazinkaiser instead. }D

^^^Also, here's a review of the old one: pony-hp.web.infoseek.co.jp/MAX-KAISER.htmdoes the foot moves at all on the Max Factory Mazinkaiser? side to side up and down .. It has an ankle joint. Not as much side to side as the newer GX-45's but enough to get some decent poses like in that link. OT: I'm so used to the SOC section being a demonstration of someone NOT using Google.....

For purely aesthetic reasons I like the SRW version more which is the Max Factory version, and the original version introduced in Super Robot Wars F Final where his basic story was told. It was so successful that they then decided to make the OVA. The Max Factory is more dynamic and looks more natural when posing. The Aoshima looks fine, but he tends to look stiff, and he's more of a face forward, one pose kind of guy as he doesn't hold any other pose very well.

I prefer the OVA design and already had an Aoshima Kaiser, but I caved in and ordered a Max Factory. The Aoshima will go with the Mazinger SOCs while the MF will be hanging out with his Super Robot Wars buddies.

I was wondering if there is another set of sword handles that go in the shoulders (in addition to the ones attached to the swords). Can someone let me know? Also, does anyone have a problem where the silver piece on the front of the waist keeps falling off?
