Update on post #16 ------------------------ Hi guys! Tonight, I was cleaning/arranging my robot room so I finally opened my unopened stash along with the Fewture Getter 2. Lo and behold The photos below will explain my frustration. I got this from ToyNToys and have sent them an email already. The box /package is perfect. I think the factory worker shoved/forced the figure into the styro too hard Anybody dealt with Fewture/ArtStorm directly with positive outcome?

Damn, that sucks. Hope you can get a replacement. But if you can't , you can still do a good fix with a hobby drill, some rods & maybe a hobby vice found at any hobby shop.
You drill two holes that're smaller than the diameter of the peg on each side of the break, then insert a tight-fitting rod (cut to the right length), which'll serve as the new peg. I'm guessing the holes'll be about a centimeter deep.
You'll have to make sure the holes line up straight with each other. You can drill the second hole slowly, test fitting it every now and then with the peg & the other half (with the foot?) to make sure it's straight. (Use the hobby vice to hold it in place).
You don't have to glue the rods in, either. They can serve as removable joints. If you drill a tiny bit too wide in some places, you can improve the snugness of the rod by taking it out, coating it with superglue & then sanding it down as needed.
Like I said, I hope you get a replacement, but if you don't it can still be fixed. Other people on this board have experience in that area too. Hope it helps!

i'm hearing more and more nightmares of Fewture with their highly priced figures.. it's really scary, alot of people experienced the same thing "Breakage" in their Ex gokin Juohmaru, unglued magnets in Mazingers 1969.. Bad paint, chipping..etc
i'm sorry to see what you're going through, i hope you get a replacement, otherwise, i hope u get it fixed..
Fewture should Really Take care of their products before they sell them.

How does that happen? I've heard of missing pieces and stiff joints from the Fewture products - but to ship an item from the factory with BROKEN ankles/feet, that's ridiculous. (Please Gokin Gods, do not let the Shin Getter come with these type of issues.)

No response from ToyNToys and Fewture yet I wonder if they can read English over at Fewture/ArtStorm? How does that happen? I've heard of missing pieces and stiff joints from the Fewture products - but to ship an item from the factory with BROKEN ankles/feet, that's ridiculous. Like I said, the packaging is intact from shipping. My best bet is the last person in the assembly line forced the figure into the styro coffin and didn't want his salary deducted or get reprimanded. (Made in China not Japan) Damn, that sucks. I really don't want to go through this but at some point, you gotta do what you gotta do . I do have a Dremel set. What rod should I use? Metal or plastic or wood? Where to purchase? Which glue would you recommend? I just noticed that the broken ankle connector looks like it's made out of resin. Whatever it is, it feels very weak! More like chalk-y.

That's horrible dude, feel sorry for you.
For stuff like this usually the shops are able to return to the manufacturer.
My suggestion before you glue it, Try to contacting ToyNToys again I think they are the official distributor for Fewture toys. The return sales policy is within 7 days though. They should at least have something to say or reply to this matter...

It's best to use something metal, like this: www.hlj.com/product/AALBR08That's about half a centimeter, which seems thick enough. There's also brass tubes of wider diameter: www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Word=brass%20rod&MacroType=Mat&GenreCode=Sup&searchpage=Suptop&Dis=-2I think the rods might be thick enough, though. You'll need heavy wire cutters or a garden sheer to cut them. Actually you can find brass rods/tubes at any hardware store & most hobby shops. I'm sure they'll have more variety than HLJ. The broken joint is actually supposed to turn left & right (with up-down movement left to the toe). If you're going to glue it, I'd recommend JB kwik weld: www.hobbylinc.com/htm/jbw/jbw8276.htm(Some auto supply stores carry it but it can be found everywhere online.) **I would glue the rods into the drilled holes, only. Trying to glue the broken surfaces to each other might get messy & the glue could spread outward & bond the joint.** If you're not going to glue it, but you'd like some snugness of the rods you can add thickness by coating them with Krazy Glue (cyanoacrylate, or CA glue). Then sand/scrape it down as needed with a hobby knife, file, ect. I think I remember Xiombarg mentioning some similar repairs he did at some point. If it's any consolation, I don't even display mine without the stand. It's balance is poor even without broken joints....!

Thats just terreble! Hope they replace it. is that the repaint version? Yes. If this was the original version and just opening it now, I will really be out of luck ;D UPDATE: I got an email from ToyNToys with a note from the owner saying he's asking Fewture for a replacement. I guess we shall see.

man, ask for a replacement!! here's my story...i bought a getter 2 original paint in ebay from the seller "studiosunny" based out of Hong Kong. My getter 2 had a really horrible paint job where there was bubbles on the back of the figure. in summary i sent the figure back and artstorm gave her a replacement. toyntoys is the official distributor and they should be able to fix this w/o issues. i mean c'mon a seller from ebay was able to do it for me, i can't see why an official distributor can't.

OK fellas here's an update After 2 and a half months of persistence and communication on my part, I finally have, with me, the replacement legs for the Fewture Getter 2. Big KUDOS to the employees and to the owner of ToyNToys.com for contacting Artstorm, replacing the defective parts, and delivering the parts from HongKong to Singapore to California. They will definitely get more business from me
