I've heard stories that transforming him causes paint chips.. So for 3 weeks I never transformed him. Well today I finally transformed him. I was so slow and gentle.. and anything more delicate I would have needed a harness like tom cruise in mission impossilbe.. Well it turns out it is mission impossible.. He got chipped I knew I should have just left him as a car.. And just play around with the alternator version when it comes out..

The paint chip in the belly area is inevitable but still don't let it ruin the joy on playing with the toy. ;D
There may be other paint chip but it usually appears on sides where it is not seen either be it on car mode or robot mode.

Omni's right---don't let the paint chips ruin your enjoyment, besides you can always get touch up paint to cover up those scratches. Just a heads up: I've already scratched that rotating metal(?) piece for his shoulders (just above the front wheel wells in car mode)-- don't be too rough in trying to pose him in bot mode or this piece will rub on the diecast hood and can leave a pretty large gash -very noticable in car mode.
