Anyone know what is the difference between the GD-45m with the gold sticker vs. the silver sticker version?

Which sticker? There are two metallic stickers on the box. My GD-57m has a silver Kiryu-head sticker, lower left, with a small gold 2004 sticker in the upper right corner. The 45m is packed away right now, and I don't remember what color the stickers are on that. Perhaps it's the difference between the two different versions not a variant of 45m. Just thinking out loud. The interesting part is that the 57m does not have the numbering "GD-57M" anywhere on the exterior packaging. The only way to match it as 57M is to check the box art against the 57B and standard 57. Do you have pics of the boxes in question?

Here are pics. Both are 45m variants, and the gold version has that extra little sticker up in the corner. I'm guessing one of them is maybe a limited variant?

Looking at these again, it makes me wonder if the one doesn't actually have a gold sticker, but just has more yellow reflected light coming from the table whereas the other has more blue light?

Yea, I was poking around in the bins in my storage after posting, and my 45m has a silver sticker, with gold in the upper right just like my 57m. I think you are correct with the color bounce in that pic. I hope there isn't a seller claiming some rare variant. I have never heard of this and I consider myself pretty versed in all versions of this toy, but there's always the chance that there are differing label colors. I'd be willing to bet that the toy inside is no different though.

I actually confirmed the color bounce today, with my own GD-45m box. Putting it over a yellow t-shirt turns it gold. I don't have a camera right now to show pics, but that's definitely what's going on.

Looking at the "gold" picture, there is more yellow in the white areas of the box also, but I didn't think about how much the reflected yellow light from the table would affect the sticker until I posted these pics.
