Why is the TF United line so expensive? Will these be released in the Sates?

Its cause the Takara stuff is already expensive and BBTS marks stuff up further, I guess to cover import costs.
That stuff should be in the generations line around the $10 price point.

They might still show up on the generations line. I mean look at some of the WFC lineup they have on the united line, we got them first as part of the generations line. We finally get red alert on the generations line long after it was release as a henkei, just like dirge and thrust. So it's just a matter of when hasbro decides to issue them. As for the united line, the paint scheme has to impress, just like henkei, in order for me to justify paying more. Otherwise, I'll stick to my 10$ for deluxe class figures principle.

Yeah, I'm going to wait it out too. There's no way in the world Hasbro won't release those over here. Hey, will there be a Thundercracker Generations? Never had all the Seekers and Coneheads before - now I'm sooo close, but Henkei Thundercracker is rediculous now!

Yeah, I have no doubt these will all see Hasbro releases. Most of the United figures are coming to Generations or Reveal the Shield. I think Wheeljack, Frenzy, and Rumble (if it's truly a 2 pack) are the only ones that haven't shown up either in official Hasbro images, con reports, or store computers. Not really much to worry about, they'll be announced soon enough as well.

Its a shame they keep releasing that mediocre prime mold when one of the best is still available. I guess they can list this one at a lower price point and possible sell more (to kids). Seriously! That's the lamest Prime in my collection. That mold needs to go. >

So I am pretty sure the WFC Soundwave is the only classics SW we are getting. Considering the minions are more like the icecream truck, I suspect WFC is the closest we will get. Now I just have to find one.

I don't know what's going on with wave 2 of generations. I have yet to see any of it. Probably because no ones buying wave 1 here in the bay area. I can go to any target, walmart and toys r us and find them. There is a comic store I can go to which has wave 2 and 3 but for the price, I can get 2 figures if I wait for them. Perhaps we will see during christmas. And seriously though, they have got to clear out all those cybertron mode Ratchets. Every toys r us store that I have visit has at least 3 rows of it and the figure has been available for months.

Yeah, it's still nothing but Wave 1 everywhere I go. Walmart even shrunk down the Transformers section to make room for TRON figures, making the TF pegs look even more full. Emerje

I found WFC Megs, Darkmount, and Red Alert (is he wave 2?) in Indianapolis yesterday. Only got Megs.
Does anyone here have Darkmount? Is he worth it?

Wow that is the same 3 figures that I have been able to find - only at 3 different locations. WFC Megatron - Target Darkmount - Hasbro Toy Shop Red Alert - Amazon I have the rest of the group on preorder from Hasbro Toy Shop. As for Darkmount, he is pretty cool but I don't have as much love for him as the G1 remakes. I would say he is worth it unless you are saving up for Dirge/Blurr/Soundwave/etc. He has a lot of little guns that can be moved around his body/tank but they also can get knocked off if you are not carefull. If I was to compare him to the Megatron that you have, the bot mode is not as nice as Megs, but the alt mode is better than Megs. Also, the transformation is harder than Megs.

Ah yeah, I totally should have included where I found them in my last post. Megs and Darky were at TRU, and Red was at Walmart. Just saw Megs again at my local Target today. Thanks for the Darkmount overview. I kind of regret not getting him, but I felt guilty impulse buying him in the store. Oh well, I'm sure I'll have another chance once this wave has a little more time to trickle out.

I dig darkmount - His transformation is a little fiddly, but it's also quite clever and the robot looks brutish and powerful. Plus he has ball jointed wrists, which are a rarity in transformers, let alone deluxes. He looks great with hailstorm as a master/minion combo, too

Just scored WFC Soundwave! He doesn't have quite the potbelly I saw in the earlier pics. AND he's got a compartment in the front... Hopefully, one of these aftermarket companies will bust out some minions for him. ^____^

I like the Titanium Scourge better than this one.

Yeah, I prefer the Titanium Scourge as well. It looks great in both modes, just a bit loose in the joints (like most Titaniums). The Classic Scourge looks OK in bot mode, I just wish he had better wings and a little less bulky. I'd also like to know what his gun does, Hasbro made it clear at Botcon that it wasn't a Targetmaster.
I think Wheeljack's wrenches turn into guns. It looks like the heads flip up to reveal handles with the wrench handles being the barrels.
I hope Hasbro and Takara are smart enough to use the G2 Autobot symbol on Laser Prime when they release him, he doesn't look right with the traditional logo, but I'm sure they're trying not to confuse kids. Might have to get a sheet of G2 repro stickers...

Ravage does not come close to fitting in Soundwave's compartment. Oh well. They at least look good together.
