might as well have been a tent. i sort imagined the museum to be bigger. this Maz is nice but not great and for me not worth paying the $$ . What a shame that more ideas weren't given about this piece to really make it stand out.

The museum is located in Wajima, Go Nagai's hometown with a population of only about 35,000 it was more of the city paying a tribute to Nagai plus Japan does have some of the most expensive property in the world. I'm sure in the Bandai museum there will be a much larger section dedicated to him.

Wow, population 35,000! That's roughly the same as the population in Puerto Rico (I could be wrooooooong. LOL) zozo-magengar The museum is located in Wajima, Go Nagai's hometown with a population of only about 35,000 it was more of the city paying a tribute to Nagai plus Japan does have some of the most expensive property in the world. i dont know why they would not send it with a box. Especially when they know how much it is... I have emailed them and hopefully they will respond to me and provide me with a solution to this. To top it off, there were no go nagai papers that came along with this... I am sorely disappointed with how they are conducting their business...

Hey Zeta sorry to hear and see about your GX-45C they should have charged less for it being that the condition of the box was so battered considering how sought after the piece is. that would drive me nuts too. may i ask where you ordered it from? I seriously just placed an order for a GX-45C and a GX-49G from Anime-Export.com so if you got it from them I want to address this issue before they send it all the way from Japan. Thanx bro Erik

I just dont understand why they didnt bother to package it up properly... I will wait to see what their response is and how they are going to take care of this problem as I cant accept something like this....

Not all the GX-45C released were sold with the brown box, just like those that were sold in the museum itself. I guess Toywave probably got those. But its really disappointing that they packed in so shabbily in thin package. it should have come in a parcel box at least. as for those Go Nagai papers, I think they probably don't bother to send and to be fair to them, the website did not state that it will come with those papers.

I had a similar issue with another figure (a Toei web-exclusive) purchased through Tokyobuyers. Tb decided to remove the brown cover box before sending the item (allegedly to save on S&H but since I paid for that as well that explanation didn't make much sense). Then they also packaged it rather badly, so that the item arrived in a similar condition than that Mazinger. When I contacted them about it they simply stated they always removed those boxes and refused to address the issue. That was my last purchase with them.
As far as the Mazinger figure is concerned, if there are different releases and some were sold without the box, the absence of the box is understandable, even if very frustrating. However, the fact that the item was poorly packaged and damaged is unacceptable, especially for a piece of this price. So far I've only had positive experiences with Toy-wave, so keep us in the loop on how they handle the issue.

Thanx Zeta That is really surprising that Toy Wave would handle a piece like this in such a haphazard manner considering that they usually carry the more rare and pricey pieces. Well I hope that they are able to help you out bro and that they will be willing to work with you regarding the order. Let us know what happens. Good luck Erik

e-mail Ken and let hin know what happened. He's a pretty good guy and I'm sure he'll do something about it. The thing is he really doesn't ship the stuff personally but his staff does so I'm sure he would never ship a item that cost that much in that way, also tell him your a member of this board.

Ouch, that's terrible, Zetaking.
I guess one possibility is that they just shipped it out the way they got it from Japan without checking the actual contents, I hope they can do something about it. Good luck.

If something like That were to ever happen to me I'd be so pissed with Gats drawn and Bats swingin. Honestly, I dunno what I'd do, but I'd surely be one mad B*tch Mofo. That is totaly UNACCEPTABLE.
As Chen stated, email Ken and work it out. I can't believe a well-known toy store would allow such half-azzed handling of an expensive specimen and ship it to a customer that way. I believe one or more heads are gonna roll over there at Toy Wave... those responsible for that unprofessional service will be fired. Serves 'em right.

this is how the package came to me... Notice that other than some light bubble wrap, and a thin paper cover, no other protection... Lancerx hopefully yours didnt come this way either.... here are the damages that are consistent with the outer box.... York, their manager has responded to me and said he will look into the problem and get back to me. I proposed to him that I could pay additional 80 and keep this and wait for another perfectly packaged item to come or just have him send me another one and once I have it I will send back to defective one... I just want to have this taken care of though. Hopefully they will be able to take care of me as I have been a repeat customer. I know that things like this happen so if they took care of this problem as they should, I will still be a loyal customer.
