See lower right corner. 1 year anniversary (of Go Nagai's museum opening) version? Looks like it's got gold trims and gold pilder. It's probably another Tamashii exclusive. 6800 YEN if I'm not reading it wrong. source: www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-124101-1-1.html

Oh no, Not another Mazinger! Yep, y'all heard me right, I sed it. I really luv Maz and all, but This time it's too much. What next, a "Furry" version of Maz complete with a tutu? Gimme a break, puh-LEEEZZZ.
How about they do another re-issue of the GX-01s in a perfect sculpt, anime-correct paintjob WITH A PILOT INSIDE the Pilder! ;D This gold-trim/anime ShinMaz version is just way over the top.
Bandai could've directed their attention towards SOCing other super-robots that are still waiting their due... as in, the classic JEEG and others.
<slap!><slap!> C'mon, SNAP OUT OF IT, BANDAI!

The over saturation of SOC Mazingers is very off putting.
I remember seeing tons of bald eagles in Alaska a few years ago. After the 257th one, their magnificence went away. I feel the same about these Mazingers. They are becoming less and less special. Too bad...

as great as the character is, its about time they gave it a rest. there are so many other super robots out there that are worthy of being immortalized.

You know it's bad when even the members whose favorite robot is Mazinger are tired of it. Haha.

don't get me wrong guys .... I am sick of repaints of mazinger aswell ..... but as for this version ... I have to say I like it !! it reminds me of the original manga color scheme!! or I think it was just the colors of mazinger on some manga covers that were done by go nagai!!
I like it ... especially if it comes with the jet scrander!

Seriously: Bandai needs to give Maz and all his friends their own SOC line. Since the inception of the SOC line in '97, how many Maz-related releases are issued each year? All Maz, all the time. Forever. (What's with the photo? It never fully loaded....)

I'd call this Morning Sun-Shine Mazinger GX-45SS With the right lighting one could probably get the same colors when photographing a the regular veresion This kind of fuels my declining interest in SOCs just like the recent Getters....All I can say is this is great for my wallet

from goldarak's pictures; Just to clarify, i think this is to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of the opening of a Go Nagai museum. I'm not sure where or what this museum is. From what I can read they haven't decided when it'll go on sale yet.

From what I can read they haven't decided when it'll go on sale yet. On the pix, it shows "www.go-wonderland.jp". I think that's the website for the Go Nagai museum. GX-45C will be for sale on April 25th at the museum. First 100 buyers of GX-45C will get an opportunity to meet Go Nagai in person. Price at 6800 yen.
