That's interesting. I almost confused Bandai Japan with Bandai America-- because I thought they only manufacture Japanese toys.

I bought the Apollo 11 chogokin and will probably be purchasing this too. I don't think a lot of robot collectors will be into this, but it does have a broader appeal as a collectible to the general public. The die-cast is kinda minimal so you take it for what it is, which is a highly detailed pre built model in fancy packaging.

I actually really want this. I was obsessed with the shuttle when I was a kid* so this really speaks to that part of me.
*useless fun fact: My parents took me to Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center when I was in 4th grade. I nearly exploded from excitement at the KSC while Disney World bored me to tears.
