So I would like to hear what your last big acquisition of the year is, or what you still hope to get before the New Year....
I ended up doing well to end out last couple of months with a nice Daimos, Goggle V, and Bio-man plus Bio-Dragon....
Looking like my last purchase of the year is nothing big just a SOC Combattler the gx-o3, that I got for 120. I could have gotten for less, but wanted it asap, the guy sends with insurance plus priority shipping, so I don't mind to pay 120, knowing ebay, paypal an shipping eats up that 20 easy, and being mint an complete, it is worth 100 bucks alone minus shipping IMO. One that is what like 10 years plus old now, and maybe might try and get the Voltes V version as well, as it may be some time before I can get mint vintage versions, and I know they are smaller, but the line form ten years back seems to still have some of that vintage color look anyhow, and getting older every day....

Great topic; but I won't know until midnite New Years Eve. I got contenders. ;D
Late edit: Aww screw it. It's a tight race between my GX-02R and my Yamato vinyl Grendizer. I love my vinyl Grendy. Grendy's always been my comic relief since I don't have any Boss Borots in my gear. But, my GX-02R is a very special sentimental value to me for the way it arrived to me in my darkest hour, like an angel from above it saved my life and gave me peace-of-mind. I worked for it and I feel so happy with it. So I gotta hand it over to my GX-02R, Hands Down.
I define the word "Score" meaning something I paid for and bought; a conquest, a target, a prey, a most sought-after toy specimen. I cannot categorize gifts as "scores", because they are highly sentimental to me and I place emotional and spiritual value on gifts I have received at some point in time...
So I'll personally subsitute "score" with Acquisition... ...my biggest acquisition this year is my Getter Dragun jumbo which was given to me as a Christmas gift from brother Godaikin as a token of our friendship and a flagship symbol of what Robot-Japan is all about... we share our love for this hobby in such a powerful energetic and passionate way. I've never seen anything like this in any other webgroups I belong to. Cheers!

I just got my first Daimos today and am hoping to get the SOC GX-57 Space Battleship Yamato before the end of the year. The perfect end to a good year.

Ancer, I like the SOC Godmars nice. I am trying to find a nice mint old vintage one for around 400. I let one slide the other day I didn't to get in a cash bind close to Christmas, but a nice one went with only flaw one of Majin Sphinx leg was browning, and it went for 430. And supposedly there is special hydrogen peroxide you can sock in, which will make a nice white again. Keep that hydro whiting kit in mind all, as I have link for that info if any needs.... Daimos, instant favorite with me, and I would like to know more about those Yamato battleships, as I have seen auctions for them ,and they look really cool.... Does it transform into anything, or is it perhaps a carrier of sorts for other robots an ships? ProstockJon since you and I got into this around the same time, I would like to see what you have gotten thus far, as I to collect g1's a bit as well.... Like to see those Popy's when they arrive, sorry what are they again? All these numbers and letters confuse me, lol....

Oh and Ancer I looked at those links. The last of the 3rd, the one with all the Valkyrie jets, as I have been checking those out lately. I like those....let me think Macross perhaps, with the Orguss Orgoid robot, and the Nikick, and all that go with that line. I really would like to have one of those deluxe battleships, like the deluxe Yama, hey by the way stupid question here I am sure, but is this guy below the vintage example of what Mine-layer acquired in the re-issue Yamato? cgi.ebay.com/Yamato-Super-Dimension-Fortress-SDF-1-Macross-1-3000-/270682484130?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f05eeeda2#ht_2342wt_932Lastly, it appears that all this Robotech, Macross, and Valkyrie robots are all connected, via the story line of the cartoons an comics, and the companies who make and distribute them. Is this a correct assumption? Man, I really like the old Orgoid, minus the horrible brown and turquoise color pattern. What a can of worms would be opening, if one was to begin collecting this line, as a simple Robotech or Macross search on ebay, results in ten thousand plus hits, lol. Shouldn't take me looong to sort through these guys at all....

My last aquisition is actually my xmas present which I would have NEVER expected to get anytime soon, but it's the Shogun Jumbo Golion which is on its way.
That is one of my 3 most important acquisitions of the year, the other 2 being the GX-53 and my favorite gokin: GB-36

Hello. My last acquisitions for 2010 are the Bullmark Mekanda DX Head and Arms (each complete & c10 Toy in c8.5 Box). Surprisingly, I received the blue shoulder variant. I searched the internet and the only info I found about this is from Kim Castro's website stating that the blue shoulders are the first version. Is it rarer, therefore, more expensive than the black shoulders then? Like the yellow elbow Voltes DX?

I know we talked about it before. I'll try to find the old thread, but it might be difficult to locate.

Found one discussion on the topic (if you could call it that). At least it identifies the prior existence of this toy. toyboxdx.com/phorum/read.php?4,119082,138259#msg-138259

Looks like some nice stuff aquired buy you all, and Kingboy that guy is badass, even though I have no idea what it is, never seen that guy before....
I actually bought a Godmarz beofre the end of the year from Asia, but it did not show up until this past Monday. Nice silver box Godaikin from Kb, and it is everything it was suppossed to be and more IMO. Complete, no browning, box is in solid. I Really like this robot, short stocky thick fella eh....
The feature I did not know about which I enjoyed discovering the most, was the little human chrome pilot which goes in the Red guys chest, and his exstention neck which views out through the clear section of Godmarz face. Clever I thought....
I got one of those plated Danguard Ace's as well late in 2010 which just showed up, and I can't get over how nice it displays. Serious vibrant colors, but does look a bit strange displayed beside early 80's Godaikins. Large and heavy desribes him well, and I personally think his ship mode looks as sleek as any I have seen thus far in person. Reaaly like how that helmet combines with the front of the ship. He is really worth having an old and new version, just so one can display him in each ship and robot mode....

Although it came in After 2010, I gotta say that my MC100 LeReve Mazinger vinyl figure is one of my all-time favorite "vintage" toys second to the old Banpresto mazinger toys... it's sculpt and accuracy just Wow me to the floor with wonder; and this one which I have is the 'metallic' version. (This is also my second figure of its kind in my gear. My first LeReve metallic Maz is home with my mom... I miss it, so I went and bought this second one so I can have it here with me at all times.) ;D
