Although you describe it well, I would post a pic too. I haven't had too much luck myself repairing these CLEANLY. But then again, I'm not too handy or meticulous. I'm sure someone else here can provide a good recommendation.

Good idea... thanks! Here are 2 views showing the stress fractures. I am pulling them apart slightly. The cracks rest flush otherwise. Is this plastic the same Polyethylene as the rest of the body (sans Soft Vinyl head) ? ~Floyd

You have a pretty long cracks. I played with 2 part plastic resin, (got mine from Ace Hardware, plastic repair epoxy) but is hard to get a matching color and would be better to apply on the inside. Where the bumps are at, you can sand dremel in a little and fill back in. The epoxy didn't set up really hard that I used, but seemed to be a good binder to the plastic.
Would use some thin CA glue on the outside sparingly on the cracks. It is hard to repair flawlessly as you can't just sand things down and re-paint like a regular model.
That's my best suggestion for trying to fix and lessen any future cracking.

Yes, new fist is best. Leave that one as is. Maybe wrap a rubber band around the section with the crack if it falls off easily.

Inframan's right. Rather than go through all the rocket-science of making this type of repair, it would be easier to shop for fists (and/or any replacement jumbo parts) on ebay. Jumbo parts turn up frequently on ebay. Some do seem outrageously priced, while others in used or lesser condition fetch for reasonable prices... you just have to search really good on ebay. On the Fix-It side of the coin, I've got some holes and cracks in a couple of my jumbos. I plan to repair them, and I've been thinking of using fiberglass resin (sold at Home Depot). After the repairs are made, I don't mind the extra work to sand the parts and repaint them to a better color shade... they may turn out better than their original form. zozo-Magengar

Thanks everyone. I was hoping some of you experienced modders and general Jumbo restorers would know if it was possible to do a really good repair on the plastic and what to use. I had my doubts that a lasting one could be done (especially if the item is actually going to be played with) to the plastic and the fact that it's a stress-point.
@infrman I wish that fist was for the other hand. I'd buy it and make a Bow version like the Popy Jumbo was in Japan. I'll keep my eyes open for other Raydeen's to use as parts. Maybe I'll get lucky an actual Bow Shooter accessory I've seen will turn up for a reasonable price!
I might try some 2 part epoxy to see if I can't at least salvage this one for the time being...
