So IF you could only have 2 vintage toys, what would they be? Anything.... (robot related/our hobby)

Well... 1) jumbo Mattel Shogun Warrior Great Mazinga
(the first issue version with the full-nose Brain Condor)
and
2) the LeReve Mazinger-Z, which of course I already have two of
the metallic version... but I'd like to have the Toei anime colored
version as well. Guess I'll just have to custom-paint my other
metallic LeReve Maz if I can bring it back from Puerto Rico! lol ;D

Yeah, that's pretty tough. One would have to be my Shogun Warriors Gaiking that I had since i was a kid. This was the one that started me off down this crazy path. As for the other... that would take a lot more thought. Maybe my black Daiku Maryu SOC? (Although its not vintage.) Impressive size and heft, with plenty of sharp points, and it could appeal to even the non-robot collectors. EDIT: OK, since Ed limited it to vintage, I have rethought my second choice. It would have to be Battle Fever. Or Big Dai X Blitzkrieg Combo. Or maybe my Ghidorah Bullpet. OK, there's just no way I'd ever let myself be limited to just two.  |

Bullmark Bullpet Gojira - Brown Version because that was my favorite as a boy, and obviously still is.  Second piece would be Popy Robo-Riki because my dad bought that for me when I was hanging around his work bugging him one day and I needed something to do to keep me occupied. He walked me over to the toy store a few doors down and we picked it out together. Don't ask me why I chose that particular piece, but I did. My 12 year mind was set on getting that particular toy, even though they has the entire line of Popy toys. I still remember having the best time that day, playing with RR at Dad's work. Good times!  |

My favorite has always been Mekanda and Voltes V. So far I'm close to getting one of them. I'm expecting my godakin voltes v to arrive this week. Only problem is that I am missing the rubber treads for the panzer!

Hmmm.... that's a toughy... I guess Mekanda - I have only seen pictures online, I have never seen one up close in person, or held one, etc...
