Do these robots have lots of metal content? More or less than SOCs?

Well, I can only vouch for the GE, and they are just like the old-school SOCs in metal content.

Errr.. is there an Rx series chogokin? Or are you referring to the Gundam Chogokins?
Most of the GD series is Kamen Rider figures, hefty diecast but small figure (5") some of the metal parts on them crumble (Happened to my Kabuto figure's armor, returned it to the shop for replacement).
Under the GE Line is mostly Macross Frontier items. The only Super Robots I can think of in the GE line is New Gaiking and Aquarion. New Gaiking diecast is almost on par with the SOC Gaiking, Aquarion diecast is only in the joints. I only own the Alto Vf-25 and diecast is very limited to few parts. Very different from you average SOC. I have no idea about the Macross Quarter though.

They all vary like just like how the SOC line varies in diecast amount. The SOC line doesn't mean it has the most diecast just that on average it has the most engineering time put into it because of the market it occupies. In fact the GE Gaiking probably has more diecast in it than a fair share of SOC's.

I have the GE Gaiking and Aquarion. I am now interested in getting the Macros stuff. Frankly, the old school, blocky and mostly red in color SOC releases are boring me. I want more modern looking robots now.
