Hey guys,
I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me about the Mazinger Z Jet Scrander:
I own a Unifive Mazinger Z but I have an original 1970's Jet Scrander. When I put the original Jet Scrander on the Unifve figure it's a very tight fit and I'm worried that the little molded connector in his belt buckle is going to break.
Could someone who owns an original Mazinger Z and original Jet Scrander tell me if the fit is extremely tight like what I'm experiencing with the older jet and newer figure or is it just snug and not extremely tight? I'm starting to think the diameter of the waist of the Unifive Mazinger Z is larger than the original making this a tight fit.
Thanks,
Jack ;D

Sorry to hear about your fittment problem. As far as the pairing of the originals, mine fit great and have no issues with tightness. In fact, the abdomen sticker doesn't even show wear from putting it on and taking it off. From what i've read about the Unifive Jumbo repos, they're supposed to be new sculpts of the originals and not from the original molds. So your theory of the U5 being larger could be right. Since you've got an original Jet Scrander i'd say don't risk breaking the connector and just display it along side the U5 Jumbo till you find an original Mazinga Z. It'll still look pretty good. Easier to find an original Mazinga Z than an original Jet Scrander. Hope this helped, aloha!

Got any pics? Making a custom Jet Scrander (Dash Scrambler) is on my shorter to-do list for my Mazinga, I am leaning towards the snap-on waist holder instead of the belt though. Or possibly use the shoulder missile holder area to allow Mazinga or GaiKing dual usage.
Seeing pics of Mazinga with the jet attachment wing, makes him look so much cooler

Easier to find an original Mazinga Z than an original Jet Scrander. So true! And probably cheaper also.
