If you look at it the paint scheme is less a Black Getter 1 than a Getter 1 black version. The purple is gone so it's not a re-issue of the old Black Getter but a new paint design so Fewter is keeping it's word that the first Black Getter is limited to 500 or whatever but it doesn't hogtie them into not being able to release a Black Getter in another paint variation. Also if you look at the promo pic it looks like it's actually a Black Getter 1 that you can make look like the Black Ryoma Getter 1.

From what I've been reading it's called Black Getter Ryoma Mode Changing set
If I understood correctly it's going to be the Ryoma Mode with extra parts to transform into a Black Getter 1. Comes with Black getter Machine!!!!

That does look good and I want one bad but I just WISH these things were smaller like 8" and thus cheaper. I'd gladly pay $150 each for one and collect them all but as is I'm just gonna have to enjoy it through you guys.

I already have the original, but I'm definitely getting one of these. I still love the former and I'm keeping it, but I've always thought that it would look better with the purple parts painted grey, like in the OVA. I was quite sure that if Fewture were to release a repaint version, that it would be with that color scheme. And lookatit, they did it.
I'm usually not too fond of repaints, unless they look better than the original, like this Black Getter. Now, I have to ponder upon getting only one, or burning the moolah for two. Because that black version of the Getter 1 looks sweet.
