So, I received my SRC GGGG today. Nice figure, but I must say I'm not very impressed. It feels really light for it's size to say the least. This is one of those figures that I only get one of - no multiples. I'm happy I got it at a discount. It will most likely sit in the back of a shelf, overshadowed by it's two Gao predecessors. }|

Bummer.

It's a very impressive figure it's just for it's size you expect it to weigh more. But once you get past that fact visually it's the most impressive looking SRC even compared to Mazinkaiser.

Not impressed? Heh! Need more $800 metal figures! Hooray! #kidding ...
Actually I am a bit surprised at the price point on this despite the lack of gokin in this release, but I'm sure Bandai uses that revenue to put back into resources for their products, so...it's kind of a trade off!
To be honest I haven't even opened mine yet. It looks fantastic in the reviews and the engineering looks top notch, but I'm still on the fence myself about keeping this piece in favor of other collectibles. And I'm still waiting for news on that SOC GGG!

It is nice, and very detailed. But once I had it in my hands, it was just okay to me. It's probably because it is so big that the lack of weight makes it feel, I dunno, like a less expensive figure. }D

Love the packaging though. Very compact and minimalistic. The problem with this figure is that GGGG is by nature a very complex bot and this toy keeps it to a minimum. Then again, it doesn't combine like the larger toys so some of it's charm gets lost. I still like it though. Fits perfectly with the SRC line. A bigger SOC version will no doubt blow this one out of the water with all the extra bells and whistles

I got a spare set of hands with my order. They appear to be a heaven or hell set. Is that a web exclusive or something like that?

Got mine! But the I'll have to wait and pick up the exclusive hands since it got delivered to the store without it. I'm not too bothered with the weight, it just feels a bit awkward to play with since it has so many sharp points. I was gonna buy the sentinel black getter but after seeing this in person I decided to get this first and the black getter on my next purchase. It looks great on display but it's a little bit out of place since my src collection is composed of Go Nagai robots lol.

I got a spare set of hands with my order. They appear to be a heaven or hell set. Is that a web exclusive or something like that? Like what TaurusOxford posted, they're an exclusive to the first batch of GGGG. .... Which makes me wonder... will there be a second batch? Hope there's no "ver 2.0" shenannigans again. I swear, every time the release a GGG toy post-Takara, there's always a problem somewhere with the 1.0 version and they roll out an improved figure. I haven't opened GGGG yet but I'm really, really hoping this one is fool proof and it finally breaks the curse with no silly design or QC flaws that ruin it. Gold

So my friend just got his GGGG from Amazon and apparently his didn't come with the extra hands. Is amazon not including the bonus parts in the restock?

Only the first batch of GGGG figures got the bonus hands. If your friend got a restock then he's out of luck. Mine is in the mail so I'm guessing I won't get them either. That's a disappointment I actually wanted them.

Gold Been playing with it for a while, the figure joints are tight like the newer src releases so it's safe to say that it won't be suffering the same issues with the src Gaogaigar. The only thing I'm worried about is the connectors on the wings since they're made of thin plastic along with thin pegs. The only reason I had to get this early was because of the extra colored hands. We all know how much these exclusive parts go up in price and I'm not taking any chance onpassing this up. There's definitely going to be a second batch but I'm certain there won't be anymore fixes since the figure is already great.

Got mine from Amazon today and I'm super impressed! I'm not an avid SRC collector so I don't have any preconceived notion about the heft of the toy. I find that the weight is substantial enough. The joints are nice and tight, a requisite for me since I tend to pose my figures a lot. The only recent SRC that I have is Shin Getter and I like the heft and tightness of the GGG much more. I didn't get the first SRC Gaogaigar so I might have to go on the hunt for one (making sure it's the v2 with the improved QC).

The bonus hands come with initial PRE-ORDERS not first production run. So if a store orders another batch they most likely won't get the bonus hands.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do in my situation?
I ordered mine from Amiami and it arrived at the US airport on 4-2-2014, however, since then it has been stuck with the custom. I been checking the tracking everyday since 4-2-2014 and it said the same thing everytime.
How long can the cutom hold my item? I used the SAL REG shipping option. Could Amiami help me out in this situation? if so, who do i contact?
much help appreciated, thanks

Wow, 20 days at customs? That sucks... I don't think Amiami can assist you with something like that but I could be wrong... Does anyone has any more helpful insights on hetabattousai's customs problem?

Call the USPS. They might tell you what to do.
