the face has gotten better on this but i have since lost my interest...... i canceled my preorder for this guy WHAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaat? You make me sad. You make me very, very, sad. This, along with the SRC Alteisen and Weissritter, is probably the toy I've had the most interest in for the past few years. I'm very quickly acquiring almost all of toy toy grails I've ever desired . If Bandai keeps this up, I may run out of things I want ;D (as long as they bring out that SHE x Escaflowne figure)

don't worry about it, that means more figures for the people that do want it. ;D

But oddball releases like this need all the support they can get! I'd hate for Bandai to get the impression that one-off, obscure toy releases aren't worthy of attention (even if it might, financially, be true ).

Haven't got a chance to watch the anime of this guy. Any good? Very good. A fun mix of Super Robot and Real Robot genres. It plays on the concept of what would happen if someone actually made a Super Robot - how much would it cost? Who would pay to maintain it? What about insurance on the property damage it would cause? And would the government actually let a private organization use it considering all of the above? Good characters, fun, if not overly complex action and plot, and a Super Robot that's held together with duct tape and spot welds. EDIT: My go-to for helping anyone gauge whether they'll be interested in the show is Dai-Guard's signature "Rocket Punch" scene:

And would the government actually let a private organization use it considering all of the above? That, and those pesky laws of physics. The manual rocket punch is the classic, but this Getter fanatic had a ear-to-ear grin when he saw that scene.

For those who are into dubs, Daiguard's is most excellent, as well.

i know what you mean quin but I just dont like the figure...... I did at first but hes just too blocky for my tastes........ where can I go to find more of this anime? Watched the first episode and I am hooked. I like the humor aspect of it.

"Complete collection" DVD packs used to be findable for crazy cheap, around $20 or so bucks, and when I bought my DVDs I think I got them for an average of $5 each. Nowadays they've all been discontinued so they're a bit trickier to get (although most of the individual dvd releases are still in the $5 used range) - as far as download sources go, I don't think I've ever seen it around. It never got enough mainstream popularity to be heavily pirated, I don't think.
There also may be some HK bootleg collections around, but I've been out of that scene so long I don't know where the best places to go for those are anymore.

I bought mine recently through iNet video.ca, however you might want to try iNet Video.com. They have more shipping options. iNet Video.ca only ships within Canada. Each volume was about $5 new.
