I almost bit, but decided to pass. Something about their "not SD / not regular sculpt" turned me off on getting it, since it is still pretty pricey for a 12cm plastic figure.

it's soo bought for me. This is at 1/10 the price of the SHE Getter and has better looking Getter 2 and 3 modes. The transformation seem intricate for a small figure

This looks pretty cool. I'm not a fan of SD, or semi-SD, whtever this is, but the transformations/combinations are great!
However, I think the ad is deceptive. It looks like you can have all 3 Getters at once, but really, you have the 3 ships which can form a single Getter robot. You would need to buy 3 sets to get all 3 bots displayed at the same time.

Not my cup of tea. If it's not deformed and don't have parts sticking everywhere, I'll go for it!!

Better yet, buy 4 and put the separated getter machines next to the three bots!

I'm sooooo tempted but I do have my reservations: approx 120mm that's roughly 5 inches 6580 yen = $90CDN quite steep
But they're likely made of plastic making them more durable than any SHE ever created and the the $90 ticket price is how much SHE was originally charging for their Simple Transformation Getter and that just transformed into Getter 1
I'm fine with the scuplting its not bad at all.....its quite an improvement when compared to the Popy chogokin one.
Damn I just "wrote" myself into it, I'm going for it.
Though I would love for this company to "Super" size this to a 12" dx figure....beggars can't be choosers.

Dang, I was thinking along the GX-06 line where we get all 3 robot modes! shucks, I think I'm willing to only pay 1 set.

I ordered it too. Hope the ankle joints of Getter 2 are sturdy enough that the it can stand on its own.
The first pic shows a transparent display stand. However I don't see it included according to the product description.

What a toy engineering marvel! Anime magic becoming a reality.

However I don't see it included according to the product description. You mean Getter 2 in robot mode? If I saw correctly, the ankle joint for Getter 2 is the wrist joint for Getter 1/Red Eagle machine. It is funny looking at the back of these three modes. The Eagle machine is pretty much doing a hand stand in Getter 2 mode. I was tempted when I first saw pictures of it, but gonna have to past on it. It isn't much of an engineering marvel as most people think. Sure it can get all three Getter modes but it isn't done with transformation. You are pretty much turning things around and looking at the back. Like look at Getter 1 arms, the bicep is white on one side and red on the back and becomes Getter 2's thighs. Getter 3's arms and hand is just the back side of Getter 1 lower leg and feet. All three modes looks good when it is facing you, but when you see the back side, it is kinda weak.

What ever happened to that Studio HalfEye and Bandai partnership? They showed an Escaflowne and hinted about other SHE stuff but notting has been heard since.
This looks cool but a Bandai + SHE triplechanging Getter would be the stuff of legends.

i'm kinda confused over some of the replies on this thread.
May i ask if the figure is made up of the 3 getter machines that are able to combine into all 3 getters or is this toy made up of 6 machines that combines into the 3 getters?

It's made of 3 Getter machine, the Red Eagle, White Jaguar, and Yellow Bear, and can form all the 3 Getter's, pretty much like the cartoon.

it's only one set of the 3 machines, so you can only form one robot at any given time, to form all 3 getter at the same time like in the first post you would need 9 machines or 3 sets.

For anyone who like this release, and consider to display 3 forms of robot at the same time, don't you think that instead of buying 3, you can have it just buying 1 SOC GX-06? For that amount of money you'll get a nice-die cast-more anime accurate Getter 1,2,3. Or for those of you who're into deformed getter, there is ES gokin Getter 1,2,3. Made of diecast. If I'm into this so called 'transforming Getter', I'll just buy 1. This is a toy that meant to be fiddled around.
