Nine Ball appears to be the first Armored Core figure being made by Figutto, which appears to be a relatively new figure company. The price is 6280 yen. Size is 16 cm (6.3 inches approximately). Currently available for pre-order from Amiami. I like the Nine Ball design, though the price a bit steep, but what I'm really hoping is that with a little success we'll see figures of some of the other Armored Core figures, such as Crest CR-C89E Oracle or White Glint.

Cool. I have one of their older figures. I like many of the designs. I would like to see the four legged delta get a figure.

Me too! I'm guessing the reason Kotobukiya stopped making their old plastic injection figures was because Armored Core wasn't as popular back then, and making model molds is a lot cheaper than full figure parts. But now that Armored Core has a fairly established fan base, I'm surprised that Kotobukiya or Bandai didn't pick the line back up.

I just found out about this thread... I very rarely visit this part of the board.
Hey... I thought I was the only fan of quad-legged mechs... Guess I'm not alone ;D
Yeah, this figure's price is kind of steep for a small, plastic only model, but I believe they're the only company making complete armored core figures. I wonder if they plan to make another figure, and whether the parts will be interchangeable between them.
Other companies should make updated version of Front Mission figures as well, as they have a ton of quad leg mechs design.

play arts kai did some front mission figures......... good sculpt but just average articulation and they were a bit pricy for their size......... at least I thought so...... the line apparently died after like four figures

Yeah... I noticed. Apparently that particular line of figure was based on the mechs from the new Front Mission Evolved (3d Shooter) game, which IMHO, doesn't have as much fanbase compared to the classic FM Strategy games.

I wonder if they plan to make another figure, and whether the parts will be interchangeable between them. If they get enough sales it wouldn't surprise me... but even then, being a small new company, it could take a long time between figures. I don't want to get my hopes up too high as there seems to be a lot of one-offs these days, but the fact that Kotobukiya seems to sell a fair amount of AC kits gives me hope that this line could continue.

I am a bigger fan of Front mission mecha designs, but the payarts figures were really expensive. This is coming from a person who collected most of the mini figures too, which ran $10+ a pop.

I tried out a couple of the one-coin AC figures, but they were just too small and too fragile for me. They looked nice for their size, but even standing on the shelf with 6" figures they looked too small to fit in with my display, so I gave up on them pretty quickly.
I liked the Front Mission figures, but the AC stuff was more my thing, though with a lot of hit and miss from one design to another.

The front mission mini figures were much better than the AC ones. Not just the designs, but the engineering and plastic.
