I'm sure the event will be amazing. I haven't bought anything for a long time but i'll try an ultimate purchase with a bid on the Black Daltanias.

Now is the majority of the robots all going on the 13th, or over the 3 days? They advertise your collection selling on the 13th, 14th, and 15th. So are they selling certain cases on these days? I just wanted some clarification as I don't want to miss what I'd like to try for, but also don't have the time to take 3 days off just to bid on things. Please let me know and thank you.

Most all toys will be sold Thursday the 13th for me. Other toys like banks will be also sold Friday and Saturday. ....for what it is worth, Thursday is the best day/evening for online sales based on records. -Surprising, but it tends to be a time when people can log in without interruption.

I PM'd Ed but I also wanted to ask if we all can give him a cheer and a hand for letting us have a chance to own some of his wonderful collection. If you watch the videos and listen to Ed, I can tell he is having a hard time going over these great toys and prepping to let them go. I feel super honored in the possible opportunity to own some of his toys and I hope you all do the same. For some it will be an extra addition to a collection, but for guys like me with not that much money it will be a chance to own some rare and neat pieces that Ed has obviously taken care of. If you see the videos, each case of robots are in nice condition, be them AFA, boxed or loose, and I am awed and honored to get a chance, and moved by Ed doing this. It is like actually getting to purchase something from the Smithsonian of toys for me. Thank you Ed. You rock, have my total respect, and may make some small dreams come true for a big little kid like me. Cheers Ed.

The auction will run a Europe-(semi)friendly 2PM or so on Thursday as a start. My disclaimer is that this is Dan's estimate as of 8/1/12. Details are to be firmed up by Morphy's later.

Sad to see you letting go of your collection Ed, but nothing beats spending more time with the family, especially the kids when they are growing up. Anyway, all the best to your sale.

There descriptions leave something to be desired. Everything is rated as near mint plus, but some are most definitely not. There's no mention of yellowing, which I noticed only when I looked closely at the pics. Like the T28 Clipper and the Godaikin Machineman. Then they don't say if missiles are all on trees or stickers unapplied and other pertinent details, like on the Valkyrie GBP giftset.

The Superostrich looks like it is missing the sticker sheets, can you confirm if they are included and unapplied?
