Sounds AWESOME!!! Love the double articulated knews and elbows. The Hot Toys version feels like cheap plastic and the articulation is very limited.... now we need a price and actual pics.

I wonder if this will fare better than the previously announced vaporware die-cast Ironman (ezHobbi? I think?).

Sorry to be a nerdy jerk, but that is not the Mark VII. The MK7 has a round chest piece (among other differences). This one looks like the Mark VI from Iron Man II, which Stark also wears for most of the Avengers movie. Here, that's what the MK7 looks like : That said, I wouldn't spit on a 12" diecast Mark VI Iron Man. I just find it odd that they're calling it a Mark VII. Maybe it's just a typo by the summertime replacement communiqué intern guy who really doesn't give a crap about Iron Man. I mean, I'd have a hard time myself putting a number on an Iron Man suit just by looking at a picture.

hmm.. might be a good alternative than to the hot toys. Ive been itching to get an iron man figure but felt that iron man should have some diecast to give that feel to it...

I can't tell just by the pic if it's a finished sample of diecast Iron Man VII or Hot Toys Iron Man VII ... especially when they are using background "cabinett" for displaying Hot Toys Iron Man's ...
