I'm so getting this, expensive for the size but its a niche market with-in the SR one. At 13cm how does it compare size wise to the Fewture ones? And Krimprov ill keep an eye out for cheaper pre-orders for Dragon. As for which other ones might get made if we use the resin kits as a guide then most Nagai SR's will probably be made at one point or another.

Oh I see another difference..the heads on these are baby like too, while the Mazinger/Great Maz coming out are the ES type as they have realistic heads that could be on a jumbo,or larger bodies made to fit the head. If I collected these it would be the later, but I dont care for any of them. They enull the whole reason why I like Super Robots,in that they are tough looking, these are sort of emasculated versions..reducing them to babies lol,but I see where someone like a young girl would think they are cute, sorry guys not trying to hurt anyones feelings. But I guess things like these are sort of a Japanese culture thing, and are used to this concept in there toy culture hence the egglike description Chen gave.. If I did get the Mazinger type ones cheap,Id probably take the heads off,and make plaques.BTW you know what ticks me off?? Why cant Bandai or another Co. give us a headsculpts this good on NORMAL sized figures!! UGGHH look how accurate these are?maybe the size they are working in makes it easier?CMS come on!! .

I preordered the Mazinger in Amiami, they are about the same price as a Revoltech. I hate SDs, but those heads look so awesome!!!

Thanks! I completely forgot about them. It turns out HLJ had a preorder for the Getter G after all, and it's still open. They just put up one for Grendizer, but I have no idea why I missed the one for Getter G. It's a bit more expensive than at Hobby Search, but EMS shipping is cheaper. I think I'll pre-order it there and make some use of HLJ's "private warehouse".

Thanks for the latest.
I haven't gotten my email from AmiAmi but I did ordered it later in the game...
Hopefully, I'll get the Getter early Oct to do a first impression/ simple pro/con review on it.
I guess this is pretty exciting week for us with so many cool potential releases.

Guys, I've never had one of these. So how is the diecast content & overall quality on these MB Gokins?

Nobody knows for sure since Getter is their first gokin release. I'll definitely do a one pic one paragraph "review ' once I get it. The diecast content is supposedly "maxium"... For 86 USD I'm charged, I dare to guess, shoulders, legs feet, chest are most likely metal? Don't wait too long to order these though as it get sold out fairly quickly. I really REALLY get "sad" by time reviews are out the toy are sold out due to positive reviews.....

Hi Zman According to MCC or Mouse's blog photo, chest, upper arms, hip, hip joints and lower legs are all diecast!! The web address's at DX Mazinger latest post by MCC. Go check it out. That's about %40 to %50 diecast on this thing!?!

Hi Chen.
How's the articulation on that Getter? Any clicky? Are knee joints good?
Thanks in advance for keeping me sane while I wait for mine... ;D

Articulation is pretty limited just based on the design, no clicky joints but the arms have decent movement. The legs not so much but the QC is pretty nice, honestly though this is more a display piece then a toy. Also it doesn't come with batteries but needs three of them. It will hold some poses but with that huge noggin it does have a tendency to fall backwards so I would use the stand.

Yeah I have no regrets buying it I just wish it came with batteries. I do look forward to Grendizer because right now it really doesn't go with anything in my collection. Once I get a few more it will start to get more integrated.
