Four nights of punk shows in Vegas made me miss my toys and I wandered into the toy shop on Freemont street one afternoon and one thing immediately caught my eye. Chogokin, a Popy GA-05 Great Mazinger. (OK, technically two things, they also had a USS Flagg set up, I had that as a kid and it brought back some memories) I couldn't resist so i picked it up. Any idea how I can tell which version he is and how many swords and fists should he have come with? Or where I can find his original box, he didn't have one.

Mine does not have the knee pads or belt buckle painted. Firing mechanisms do work. Could it be a mattel Shogun Warrior?

Wow, awesome score there, Tim! Say, that's the cool thing about touring in a band on the road... no matter what city you're in, you can always go checking out the hobby shop scene in town during your down-time between gigs; and luckily find good items such as That one there. For reference, keep a map or a list of shops in any given city you tour in. I believe we still have a thread stickied in the Sales section listing all the hobby-related shops for many cities. zozo-mag
