Hi, Guys!
A friend of mine just bought Art Storm's Mazinger AD-1901 (Hong Kong ver.). He read that he should collect 5 figures to form the scrander (Nitro Rander).
Could anyone please list us the complete AD-1901 figures made by Art Storm and tell us which figures exactly should he purchase to complete the scrander? Thank you in advanced.

Also, another question please:My friend bought the Hong Kong version and it came with 1 wing (right wing) not the center piece! If he wants to complete the Nitro Rander with the center piece and left wing what should he do now?

I have the original version and it came with the center piece. In order to complete the Nitro Rander he needs to do one of two things (or three things):
1. Buy the Garada and Aflodai.
2. Buy the Mazinger and Garada Set.
3. Start looking in forums and Ebay for the Nitro Rander.

But, regarding #1, if he buys Garada and Aflodai don't they come with wings also (not the center piece which he wants)?

The Hong Kong version is the best looking, but it's the only Mazinger version that comes with a wing. The other 2 Mazinger versions (Original issue with the gold chest pieces, and the Repaint Version) both included the center piece. He needs to track down one of those.

Now, I understand the whole thingy. I am not sure if my buddy is going to buy another Mazinger to get just the center piece! I think I will advice him to look for the Nitro Rander. So, which figure comes with the Left wing: Aflodai or Garada?

Many thanks, pryzmm. It is such a great AD-1901 page. I guess since my friend owns the AD-1901 Mazinger (Hong Kong ver.), he'll go for the AD-1901 Aflodai (Hong Kong ver.) so that he makes sure each figure has the right and left wing. I am just still wondering: how may he get that center piece? Is there is any Boss Borot, Garada or Doublas Hong Kong versions that includes this missing piece? It is not fair that he buys another AD-1901 Mazinger figure just for this lil' piece!

He will probably have to buy another Mazinger (not the Hong Kong version), unless he gets really lucky and finds a loose one.
Pryzmm- Nice link!
I still have an extra Garada if anybody needs one. PM me if interested.

I honestly don't know anything about this toyline, as I don't have any of these partciular figures.
In my opinion, I hate when one has to buy several variants or versions of figures just to complete any ONE certain accessory. But, I guess that goes with this hobby. lol ;D

I think the original plan was to include the second wing with Boss Borot AD-1901, but Fewture cancelled the line after the first three figures.

Posted this before, pics of Nitro Rander that came from 2n1 Pack Mazinger 1901: The BoxThe ContentsHere's the Nitro Rander Garada & Maz 1901 I used to own this set but sold due the ff reasons: 1. It's a pain putting the drill missiles on the wings 2. The Nitro Rander once assembled is heavy. Maz keeps on falling backwards. 3. Floppy joints for both Garada & Maz. You need to be patient to make it stand. Cheers, dri1

I've got the 3in1 pack, and I still have this weird love for this early Fewture ba$t*rd series, partially because it pointed the way to the EX gokin series. They aren't high quality by any means, but the designs are funked out, and the gimmicks are very, very cool. Back when these were only $20 or less, it was a fun set of figures to get. Ebay sells them for absolutely absurd prices these days. I can't believe that somebody would have the balls to ask $500, even for a Garada.
When they first announced the Mazingers for the EX gokin series I was really excited until I saw the designs (which aren't bad by any means..) but I was really hoping the EX Mazi would be as funky as the rest of the Fewture designs.
