I just picked this up and I was going to write a review about how beautifully awesome this figure is, and as I started to drag out my camera I thought why should I put up my crappy pictures that never do justice when I can link to somebody who really does know what they are doing, so do yourself a favor and check out the link at the bottom.
So, to give a quick rundown, this is a beautifully sculpted figure and by far the best rendition of Billbine I've yet seen. Being in the Robot Damashii line, it's all plastic of course, which also makes it a fairly durable and playable toy. The joints on mine are solid and the articulation is excellent. The paint apps are are also simple and perfect (thought the vast majority of the figure is solid colored plastic, not painted color), and I'm also glad that Billbine doesn't have that dry monotone look that most Robot Damashii figures have. With all this said, the best part about the figure is the sculpt. Billbine has not always been the most attractive figure, but this version looks like a rock star. The Bandai in Action Offshoot figure wasn't bad, but this is a substantial improvement with better articulation, more accessories and larger size. The aspect that stood out the most to me is how beautifully streamlined this figure looks in profile of its vehicle mode, which is quite a contrast compared to many vehicle profiles that try do a similar type of transformation but end up looking kind of bulky and hunkered down by parts that couldn't be hidden away. Granted, this isn't a full transformation (much like Reideen) but even so, the end result is that it looks good and has the appearance of being a highly stylized craft. All around I highly recommend this figure.
