I think everyone pretty much agrees that buying Tamashii Nations items are way too expensive and a total hassle, but this seems to pretty much go along with Bandai's current mode of business, which seems oddly unconcerned with collector demand, and especially unconcerned with business outside of Asia.
I'm curious where you guys have been picking up Tamashii nations stuff? So far I've been either pre-ordering through Toy-wave or buying on Ebay, but I'm wondering if anyone has found any other, or better options?

Nippon Yasan is pretty great with almost no markups.

I've looked at Nippon Yasan. How's the service? Any problems?

I have made 2 orders with them and so far they've been good. Packaging isn't as great as HLJ but shipping was prompt and both orders came in undamaged.
Their prices with hard to find items are sometimes inflated, but with Tamashii items there are almost no markups if you order it while it is still within the pre-order window at Tamashii.
Shipping cost can be jacked up at times though. So watch out for that.
I have no experience with them in terms of returning items and their customer service in that regard.

+1 for Nippon-Yasan. I've ordered all my Macross Frontier items from them all of which are Tamashii Nations of course with no problems. They haven't failed me yet. I was a bit skeptical at first since all other retailers were sold out of what i was looking for but they still had preorders open. Gave em a shot and i was not disappointed. Like locidm mentioned though, you may want to preorder products early in order keep markup at a minimum. I've read in another forum that they ask you to return product at your cost if you find a manufacturing defect of some sort which is a bummer but I think other retailers like amiami are following this practice now as well.

All in all they sound pretty good, and their prices are the best I've seen so far. I also noticed that they seem to keep pre-orders open or items in stock for longer than one freaking hour. I've almost gotten to the point where I've written Ami-ami off because they never have any inventory.
