I like how I'm getting pre-orders in before CDX even posts about it They spend waaaaaaaaaay too much time talking about Power Ranges and junk like that. They could have been covering this for months now and alot more people would know about it. Oh well.

I'm wondering if this is a collaboration with the company T-Rex which usually makes resin kits for Wonderfest.

Collection dx posted this: ..., and an optional Getter Beam emitter for the abdomen..., Sounds like we will be paying extra for this seperately-sold getter beam emitter?? Any thoughts on this guys?

The only place that has posted that is them. But it is not listed as a sold separately item. Have not seen pics of it so no idea.

I ended preordering at HLJ; The price difference from Amiami was so little that I prefer HLJs services for this one.
I hope to be able to somehow fit it with the Dynamic Pro's SRCs, while there are no SRC Getters.

It will be larger then any Nagai SRC's besides perhaps Mazinkaiser but I find that the height companies list aren't always 100% accurate. I'll have to see when I get it if it goes better with SRC's or the OVA Getter SOC's.

Don't know first hand since I don't own any Sentinel products but from what I've read about the figures in their Riobot line these are top notch toys with excellent engineering. The T-REX line is new from them with the Black Getter only being the second figure released and no figures from this line have been released yet so it's hard to tell how they will handle diecast toys. Going just from what they have released QC should be very good but as you know it's a different beast when you start making your figures out of metal, different challenges and solutions are needed. So right now we have a notion these will be good but we have no confirmation till we start getting figures from this company that has a significant amount of metal and see how they deal with this new medium.

so the scale is somewhere in between SRC and SOC scale?..

Yeah pretty much large SRC to just under small SOC size. At 155mm it should go good with GX-45 which is 160mm and like sized figures.

My thoughts exactly. At least they have actual experience making figures unlike another company that shall not be named! I'll wait for reviews for this guy before I decided pick him up and prerder their Giant Gorg.

I have here the Riobot Gurren Lagann and the Rio:bone Yoh Asakura (it's a character from the manga Shaman King). Both are excellent pieces. All plastic, but high quality ones, nevertheless. QC on Gurren Lagann is perfect, as is pretty much everything else, really, the paint job is just gorgeous and it's amazing how they managed to get right the tiny details on the face. Th Rio:bone figure had some joints that were not as strong as I'd like, but all of these were exposed so it was easy to fix them using some nail polish. Regarding size, Gurren Lagann is a tad taller than the SRC Mazingers, but it's about the same size as the SRC Grendizer.
Can't wait for them to reveal the final Getter 1.

BBTS is asking $139.99 for black getter. After shipping that's like $150.
Even with EMS shipping they are marking it up $30 bucks.

NY now accepting PreO at $85. This store is furthest away from Fukushima out of most major Japanese shops we frequent. I don't see why the distance from Fukushima matters .... Anyway, I'd still go with HLJ, Hobbysearch or Amiami, NY I'd use only to get TWE stuff if I can't get it anywhere else first I'm not a big Getter fan, but this one is really nice, articulation and sculpt look amazing as anything from T-rex and makes it almost irresistible!

I don't know bro... I find it a little inappropriate to keep bringing that up. It is one of those comments that I just don't like to see in an international board like this one. }|
